[@Gardevoiran] ‘It was…’ Vivia replied to what Skylar said, though, then it was refocusing on the woods themselves. Goomy seemed more comfortable with Vivia all of a sudden, for some reason. ‘… Okay, let’s see if we can find any of your friends, Goomy.’ ‘Goomy!’ Goomy replied, a bit more enthusiastically. So, training against some grass-types. Went pretty well, especially for Seabreeze. Mac did have the problem that his fire was being recreased in capability by the rain, but that just meant he was doing a normal amount of damage with the fire on the grass-type opponents. Celebrity did averagely, while Smiley got to peek in occasionally, just because.

Route 3
Route 3 is partly covered by the Silent Forest, but a path has been made through the trees for people travelling by the northern path from Rainrock down to Highhill and onto Pureplain. It is a fairly decently travelled road, as it’s the main road from Pureplain to the other cities of Isson. But, that doesn’t change that it’s almost constantly under a heavy downpour from the many clouds known to gather in the routes around Rainrock City. The atmosphere is constantly damp, thanks to the rainy weather. Chances are large that Pokémon preferring a rainy day will be found in this route. While there’s likely a road for vehicles, the route for travellers is much different. With the proximity to Highhill, there’s actually a fair amount of hills in the area, and the route goes up and down. The path itself is fenced in with wooden fences and stairs up and down the hills, following those would lead to a fairly easy traversal to Rainrock City. But, step outside, and you’re officially in Silent Forest. The path is mostly cobblestone and stairs. The trees are mostly green with leaves but some blossom in pink or stranger colors. And of course, plenty of Pokémon if you just stray slightly from the road. Due to the high amounts of rain and vegetation, few people live on this route, and besides the route itself there’s little in the ways of civilization. Just a very long, very wet route, with two splits. One near Highhill Town going deeper into the forest to the Silent Shrine, and one close to Rainrock east for those heading to Route 4 and Mt. Strength or Stillwood Village. Regardless… the rain will feel like it ends very suddenly, in either of those directions. But it has been like that for so long, people have just accepted it. “It rains on Route 3”, “water is wet”. And so, reality continues.

1. Find Pokémon. With the introduction made, Jacques tilted his hat a bit and nodded in greeting, smiling a little to the new arrival. ‘A pleasure to meet you, as well,’ Jacques told, looking a bit curiously at Joshua. They then had their little conversation without even minding the Elite Four that just happened to be there and listening to them. Shedinja was still where she’d last seen it, and stayed completely motionless still as she petted its hard shell. Still, that was enough, and she could now move on. So, she arrived at the edge of town, and intended to head back to Pureplain City… when she heard the Elite Four speaking from behind her. ‘Are you… going to head all the way back… on foot?’ Jacques asked, looking her over a bit curiously, tilting his head while gazing at him through his glasses. Seemingly endless, green plains spread in every direction, only stopped by the natural borders that are the cliffs down into the ocean and the mountain range of Mt. Chill. Natural hills have formed, rolling up and down like giant, stationary green waves in this ocean of grass. These hills are also the only form of cover that you will ever get on this plain. Due to the abundance of wild Pokémon eating or battling the grass around here it never grows above the height of your feet. There is nowhere to hide here…! This goes double. The Pokémon of Route 6 have nowhere to hide. They survive using speed, strength or both. Intimidation is key, in these plains of wilderness. In addition, there is a lot of them. You’re not able to look in a single direction where there aren’t wild Pokémon, to the degree that it is ridiculous. There is no Pokémon, not even rare ones, on Route 6 that you cannot find out exists here with just a number of steps over the route. This, however, means most Pokémon on the route are tempered for battle, it is among the wildest routes of Isson. There are reasons why the unprepared tend to avoid this route. However, for potentially setting astride a large Pokémon, running across large fields of grass under a blue sky, feeling the fresh air blow past as you thunder on with nothing to stop you? There is no better place.

1. Find Pokémon. Can be specified what kind of Pokémon is being searched for, and how you search. 2. Train Pokémon. Chill nearby, the waters of Dragon Lake next to it too, sporadic forest from that surrounding Stillwood Village and some of the plain elements from route 6 as well, along with a very traveller-friendly road makes Route 5 perhaps one of the most naturally stunning routes of Isson. There are no roads for asphalt here, only travellers are explorers seeking or exiting Lakewatch Town for some reason, as well as Pokémon trainers on their journeys. A peaceful route without any real dangers, it still offers a lot of variation. Walk on the west side by the waters of Dragon Lake to potentially encounter some Pokémon of the lake. Walk by the mountains on the east and perhaps feel some of the radiating cold of the range of Mt. The route is a bit cold, attributed perhaps best to the proximity to the Frozen Cavern, and it gets colder the closer the mountain you go. Multiple rivers run down from the mountains, part of Mt. Chill that melts, but efficient wooden bridges help passage over. And of course, patches of forest here and there. The south of Route 5 opens up towards what people call the Vast Plains, or simply Route 6. There parts of the Endless Forest spread out to make things a bit more covered in trees, but as soon as you leave this forest, all you’ll see is plains as far as you can see, and that’d be Route 6. On the other side of the route is the forest that covers Stillwood Village, you need to enter the forest to get to the village. Yet, over time, Dragon Lake has actually increased in volume, the water-level rising and swallowing the town. Then the natural conclusion would be to move the town back, follow the water-level, and rebuild at the new shore, right? That, does not appear to have been the thought that went through the minds of the designers of this Town, which is essentially placed out in the water on top of older buildings, the streets of the town flooded in water and to get around one has to make use of their many canoes or get on the back of a Pokémon. The town of Lakewatch rises fairly high for its size, and vegetation grows pretty freely around the buildings. Most buildings and streets have white floating cobblestone to walk on either side of the streets, with a river of water flowing in the middle. People here are highly accustomed to this, and the streets are constantly bustling with people heading back and forth, as well as people actually gliding down from the higher buildings from the roofs above using strange little paragliders. It appears people live in the higher floors, while business takes place on ground/water-level. There are canoes basically everywhere that anyone’s free to borrow, townspeople commonly jumping down on a canoe, using the force of the jump to drift it to the other side and then simply jump off.

Raremine Town
[sub][sub][sub]no cat-eared girls here, sorry[/sub][/sub][/sub] Raremine Town is a moderately large, bright town on the edge of the only desert in Isson. By some twist, the largest mineral deposits in the land is located right under the desert, making it an attractive place to build mines. From that, Raremine Town naturally sprung into being as a merchant town on the edge of habitability from where the mineral could then be delivered to the rest of Isson. The temperature is hot, sun blazing down on this land where plains slowly become desert, the atmosphere dry and unfriendly… yet, life and trees blossoms among the buildings of Raremine Town. The ground is still the grass from the Vast Plains, with buildings on top of them. The modern houses stand tall with plenty of architectural skill put into them, tools for building and living sold inside the houses. Everywhere, one can see workers walking about, but they’re happy workers, with their families living close at hand in the town and with the finest equipment available. Oh, and of course, plenty of Pokémon that assist with the finding of ores and such! The trees, which appear to have been planted and grown all over town by the residents themselves, gives plenty of homes for local Pokémon to live. Overall, it’s busy, with people walking and talking all over, an active town indeed.

1. Find Pokémon. Route 7 is located in somewhat of a basin, surrounded by giant cliffs that cause all the clouds to empty themselves of water before passing this single area, causing the single most potent desert of Isson, the sun eternally glaring down with heat echoing from the sand beneath. While this desert contains a lot more rocks than a regular vast desert does due to the cliffs sometimes falling down into it and the boulders rolling about, there is somewhat of an influx of air soaring down into the valley, regularly blowing sand up into the skies. Sandstorms are a semi-regular occurrence on Route 7, and one in particular is always covering up the path that is said to lead to the Mystic Oasis, which can only be reliably found through the assistance of a Vivillon, which was found out a while ago by the citizens of Raremine Town. Dawkin’s (probably?) heading for the Pokémon Center, which will take him by the Bug Garden. That could be at around the same time as Amelia exits the Bug Garden to head through the gates and embark on her journey home. This would be before Jacques came after Amelia to look if she’d really go on foot, and also Florrie would already have passed because she does things at high speed when she’s alarmed. So, there could be a small time for discussion there. Potentially. __________________________ [@Pirouette] ‘Farfetch'd,’ Farfetch’d called, and took off somewhere, apparently not about to follow her, so she’d be heading back on her own. That said, she was soon in Stillwood Village.

Stillwood Village
Inside these calm forest lies a village completely in-tune with nature. The buildings are built around or in the trees of wood and stone, the light shining onto the village stifled by the great trees above. In the air, meeting your nose as soon as you tread into the village, is filled to the brim with the smell of forest and spores. It’s a wild smell, but somehow it is extremely relaxing and any worries seem to be stifled before the calming village ahead where everyone is always so calm and happy, wild Pokémon walking freely on the roads of the place. This is Stillwood Village, the most relaxing place imaginable, it’s people in touch with nature and wishing the best to all those who come to their cozy and ancient little home. Wild Grass Pokémon freely wander the streets, spreading their spores into the air which the townspeople actively walk through every single day. They are all smiles, very helpful, the entire village and all visitors afflicted by the relaxing sensations brought by the spores during their stay in Stillwood Village. However, these spores are the reason quite a few avoid Stillwood Village, arguing that it messes with one’s mind. It is extremely rare that a member of Stillwood Village moves out of the village, after all. It will also quickly become evident just how little the members of the village care about the world at large, all their worries gone by the relaxing spores and just continue living, no troubles in the slightest. That’s Stillwood Village for you. Budews, Roselias and Shroomish were above all the ones to blame for all the spores in the air, the relaxing smell and the effect that seemed to drain on a person’s worries entering the village. However, in the air drifted smaller beings. Hoppips floated along the winds in Stillwood Village, and high above Skiplooms floated to catch the light heading down, further decreasing the amount of sunlight that actually touched the villagers treading about the village. Also walking about were… Numerous Oddishes had apparently failed to understand that the relative dark was not due to night. That aside, the nice smell of the village was only occasionally interrupted by foul smell of a passing Gloom, but that problem seemed to only be bothering visitors as the villagers didn’t even seem to notice. Now she’s in Stillwood Village.
1. Find Pokémon. Can still search for Pokémon in cities~ 2. Talk. The Pokémon Gym of Stillwood Village was a large treehouse, with a large stair leading up towards it. It was a grand creation, round creation circling the tree in white, pillars that looked like sprouted trees holding it afloat over the ground beneath. Under the treehouse was a nest of plenty of Pokémon. By the start of the stairs was a sign, declaring what this gym was. Stillwood Pokémon Gym - Minor League Gym Leader: Archie “The Woodland Wanderer!” There were two girls walking away from the Gym that Erika might recognize…

'That was so much fun! Archie had so many interesting tricks up his Pokémon’s sleeves!' Maple laughed, walking away holding a badge of some kind. 'Ueh... fun for you, maybe… your team is all fire… That was so tiring…' Ellyn said, looking mentally drained. Still, she too, was clutching something in her hand. 'Still, you won, didn’t you?' Maple asks with a laugh. 'Only due to bad luck on his part, with that confusion…' Ellyn sighed, and the two girls walked on… Up to Erika if she bothered with the two of them. Otherwise, a guy she’d seen the last time she read the sign of the Pokémon Gym stood there, and now eagerly looked towards her. ‘Welcome back! I’m happy to see you return!’ he called.

‘Since you didn’t actually challenge the gym last time, I can imagine the details of my explanation remains fuzzy. If so, I’d be more than happy to explain again for our newest champ-to-be!’ the guy said, in case Erika wanted to listen to him talk.
‘So, this is, as you no doubt understood already, a Pokémon Gym! The Gyms of Isson is divided into two categories, Minor and Major League Gyms. Each official town and-or city has a Gym waiting for you, which is one of the two! Defeating the challenge of the Gym earns you a Gym Badge, and there are nine Minor and nine Major League badges in Isson. You need eight badges of one kind to compete in the Pokémon League, against others of the same level! The winner of the Pokémon League then gets to challenge Elite Four and potentially the Champion!’ ‘The Minor League is primarily for people to grow as trainers, compete in the League and learn more as they complete their Pokémon journeys, as well as for those who find they can’t beat the Major League Pokémon Gyms. The Major League is for those who wants to become the very best! It’s definitely recommended to start with the Minor League, and there’s plenty of rewards for competing in it, too! Good luck!’ ‘Winning at the Pokémon League isn’t the only way to get to do the Champion Challenge, though. Any individual the Elite Four or the Champion judges worthy is allowed to fight the Elite Four and possibly the Champion for a chance to take the title! … But the normal way is most certainly to do well in the Pokémon League. Sometimes they even let multiple people who did well in the Pokémon League take the challenge, because the Elite Four aren’t immune to itching for a fight, too. But that’s for the future, back to the present!’

‘Archie’s a user of the Grass-type! It’s a type with a lot of weaknesses, Fire, Bug, Flying, Ice, Poison… But it’s also a type full of tricks! They have a variety of different powders they can spew at you to cause status-effects and skew the tide of battle, you’d do well to prepare for their usage! Other than that, Grass is effective against Water and the Rock/Ground types, in case you were intending on fighting with those, heh.’ ‘Oh, and. This is a traditional Gym. It means you’re gonna have to fight some Gym Trainers before finally fighting the Leader. But that’s not a problem for a champ-to-be, is it? It’s simply a means to ensure the leader isn’t swamped with weak challengers. Go show them you’re worthy, then heal and come back to face the leader! I wish you good luck!’

With that over, Erika probably headed up the stairs into the first room. The inside of the building was a big forest of its own, soil spread around the ground-floor to let plants grow, yet in here one more great staircase existed, taking the challenger all the way up the giant tree that the building was constructed around. On the way up the staircase were three great platforms built out of wood, held up by a tree-pillar each, just a simple railing preventing a fall down below. In any case. Erika was to take the challenge, was she not? If so, she could climb up the stairs to the first platform. Waiting there, like knowing she’d be coming, sat a smug-looking young Aroma Lady on a wooden chair, waiting for her approach.
