Jet black medium short length hair atop his head along with a set of appealing lilac colored eyes. His wardrobe mostly contains formal or semi formal clothing, dress shirts, vests, etc. It isn’t uncommon though to catch him wearing much more casual clothing when there is beautiful weather out.
[Personality]
William is a very perceptive individual, able to process and react to situations better than most whether its in a social situation or a battle. Because of his ability to read social cues rather well he makes friends quiet easily with nearly anyone who is willing as he tries to make them feel as comfortable as can be when around him. A diligent and careful worker throughout, William doesn't possess the same offensive nor defensive power that the other primary classifications of magic offer. Because of this he has to train a bit harder and broaden his range of tactics in order to cover the areas he lacks in. Devising ways to cover up his weak side has lead to a curiosity of understanding the other classifications of magic and how to combat them.
[Brief History]
The Vectis bloodline has been around for an moderate amount of time, a bout a millennia and a half to give an estimate. With their proficiency over trickery magic they made a name for themselves rather quickly as mercenaries under Lionnel Vectis III during the middle ages in Europe and eventually acquired Aristocrat status during the start of the Renaissance period as their power and influence expanded. Prior to the war tension in the Vectis household was building up between the Main family and Branch families, unhappy with the division of power and influence within the bloodline. Dissatisfied with the future of the bloodline, the dispute ended with a sizable portion of the family defecting and joining up with the cult for the upcoming war which resulted in a devastating loss overall for the bloodline. Born and raised on Taliesin, an isolated and heavily wooded Island, William is the next heir and only child by Delroy Vectis and Ella Marie Vectis due to the timing of his birth being right around when the war started. From an early age, Will learned to adapt to his surrounding as he was constantly on the move for safety reason during the 3 year duration of the war. William had never met his father until after the war as he spent most of his time with his mother who was a very caring and nurturing woman that played a critical role in who William is today. His father on the other hand was someone William only learned about in stories or in pictures, he was portrayed as a dependable and intelligent man with rather incredible mastery over illusions and sensory manipulation that were incredible vivid. The moment his father came home, William was put straight to work in order to become a suitable heir, his father was brutal with his training. Never pulling any punches physically or verbally, he pushed William to the near breaking point in order to prepare him for whats to come. A majority of his life was spent on Taliesin as he was molded to become the best heir to the Vectis bloodline. William was trained to be crafty, to wield his illusions with precision and to expose the mental and physical weaknesses of his foes before going in for the kill, he ultimately learned how to fight and also be a critical thinker from his father. His mother on the other hand home schooled William as well as taught him how to carry himself as member of the Vectis bloodline. William was sent to attend Marchand once remaining mages that had sided with the main family began disappearing, out of caution for his son. Promised a safe and stimulating environment with a line of respectable staff members to teach his son, Delroy took the gamble. Something he isn't very happy about but his hand was forced considering the fact that the Vectis bloodline does not hold the same power they had before.
