Yes. I almost always find that it's easier and more fulfilling to sit down for a few hours and write a scene in a collaboration of some kind than to play purely by post.

Yes. Part of my appeal to roleplaying is to improve my writing skills and write an engaging story, so both are important to me.

I enjoy exploring moral "shades of gray" areas in almost any setting but especially Star Wars, where the focus can be often on "light versus dark."

Nothing comes to mind at first thought, but I'm sure there will be a couple of things here and there. I'll make it known if I think of anything.

Again, nothing comes to mind at first thought. I'd like anything excessive to be omitted or faded to black, but I think that's covered in RPG rules anyway.

In the short term, I want to explore life at the Korriban academy as an acolyte and how that changes being focused on for battle meditation. It's a theme that interests me, as well as a theme that I've never really explored before. In the long term, I want to see how far I can go as a Sith while starting as an acolyte, as well as see how being capable of battle meditation might alter and affect that.

[h3][sub]Detailed appearance.[/sub][/h3]Liaison with Sith Academy records has disclosed documents that detail Atria as a plain creature. The documentation describes her as standing at 5 feet and 6 inches with a pale complexion. Her build is noted as "sufficiently athletic" by Overseer Alecor. She sports a crown of short horns around her scalp and wears a narrow length of darl brown hair, which is normally worn tied back. She wears minimalistic traditional tattoos that are spread across most of her body, most of which self-inflicted or inflicted by her alien peers at the academy. It is noted that the tattoos resemble some varieties of Sith holocron and that all the lines lead to the third eye tattooed on her forehead.

She is known to primarily wear simplistic, unrestrictive robes or plain pants and a tank top. 
[h3][sub]Report on natural ability with the Force, as well as all known Force Techniques and the skill level.[/sub][/h3]When Atria entered the academy as a neophyte, she was noted by overseers to lack any particular talent with the force. Reports from the Korriban Academy detail that she "struggled to interpret the flow of the force" and that she "struggled to be assertive enough to command the force." Her betters suspected her of lacking tangible talent until they discovered an artefact in her training, which led to the discovery of her aptitude for type 2 battle meditation. Authorities in the Sith Order consequently authorized reprioritized special case training. 

The understanding that Atria has an affinity for type 2 battle meditation has provided some insight into her talents. Special case training has coaxed new skills, most of which related to battle meditation, out of dormancy. They have also helped to bridge her shortcomings, which Imperial Intelligence suspects that would not have been addressed with assistance otherwise. Current reports describe her as assertive enough that "her presence commands the force to pool around her." Overseer Alecor noted on her record that "the methodology of dark force practices have, after must effort, not been lost on her."

[h3][sub]Report on skills not directly rooted in the Force, including level of skill[/sub][/h3]Atria is known to be unnaturally perceptive, which is suspected to be a mix of natural capability and arcane capability. Additionally, she is known to have extensive discipline and resilience, demonstrated by way of sustaining injury and punishment admirably. While she had no particular aptitude for military theory prior to the impelentation of a specialised training plan, focused training has allowed her to excel past her peers in those subjects. These mainly include tactics and strategy, with secondary focuses on logistics, administration, and signals. 

More mundanely, she is capable of mending her own clothing, cooking with some prowess, and crudely constructing ad hoc resources. She is something of an academic; Overseer Alecor notes that while he "doubts she will be a talented inquisitor, she is capable of interpreting and researching from literature and other such resources reliably." She has taught herself how to crudely butcher and flay, which she has used to take meat and hide from creatures she has slain in the course of her studies.
[h3][sub]Report on known combat experience, training and lightsaber training.[/sub][/h3]Atria has successfully demonstrated proficiency in the mainstay of her combat training deliverables. She understands how to use the force in a combat scenario to her advantage and demonstrates talent in fighting with a weapon. She used to excel beyond the capabilities of most of her cohort in melee combat skills but has since fallen behind her cohort since her training focus has been reprioritized to battle meditation. She has demonstrated these skills both in examination under supervision and while completing trials independently.

Initially, Atria worked to learn elements of the Ataru and Djem So forms to develop her saber style while using the Shii-Cho form as a base. She has since been refocused as an outcome of her special case training to primarily use elements from the Soresu and Djem So forms. At her request, she has been taught some beginner elements of the Juyo form to adapt for use with relation to prominent Sith philosophy, but she found her attempts unsuccessful and has since focused more purely on the Soresu and Djem So forms.
[h3][sub]Detailed notes on political influence and associates.[/sub][/h3]Atria is known to have insignificant political influence, but a high potential to have so. Overseer Alecor reported that she has friends in her cohort at the academy who also have insignificant political influence. One of her former friends - a fellow alien - has since gone on to become an apprentice under a Lord, but the apprentice's influence is also too lacking to be noteworthy. She is notably in contact with several prominent Lords who are providing intensive specialist training in relation to her battle meditation capability. These contacts and this capability could potentially lead to significant political influence.

It should be noted that several prominent Sith operating in the Ministry of War have frequently queried the academy regarding the status of her training, as well as when it is due to be complete. It is suspected that she may be be able to further the political influence of such a Sith within the ministry.
[h3][sub]Detailed notes on known rivals and enemies, outside and within the Empire.[/sub][/h3]Atria is known to have a number of enemies in her cohort. Most notable of these Pau-Cas Kar: an alien known to have control and dominance over a number of his mostly alien peers. The two were rivals before Atria began specialist training for battle meditation, where she was then afforded protection from the academies competitive activity. It is believed that this largely fuels the fued. Overseer Alecor believes the two have lethal intentions and that they may have gone as far as to attempt to organize such circumstances in the past. Overseer Alecor suspects a confrontation will occur soon.
[h3][sub]List and description of other known associates, including underlings.[/sub][/h3]Atria is accountable to Overseer Alecor, who has reported a begrudgingly interested disposition towards her. He is following her progress due to her "overstated relevance to Imperial interests". He has expressed some disdain at her "alien heritage" and has expressed his dissatisfaction with Sith Lords protecting her from routine academy trials that are considered dangerous. It should be noted that Overseer Alecor is the apprentice of one of the lords teaching Atria. 

As aforementioned, Atria is in contact with a number of visiting Sith Lords. These lords are executing a specialist training regime to accelerate her studies in battle meditation, as well as to gather data on the effects of battle meditation at different stages of training.
[h3][sub]List of known all ownerships, including vessels, non-standard equipment, slaves and locations.[/sub][/h3]Atria has been assigned a small room in the Sith Academy on Korriban. She owns and maintains an electroblade training sword, which she has modified to have an elongated handle for more effective use with two hands. She has styled a dagger from scrap metal and beast hide which she makes a point of carrying with her in the course of her studies.
[h3][sub]Psychological evaluation of candidate.[/sub][/h3]Psychological evaluation of Atria suggests some manner of sustained trauma, as is standard for Sith acolytes, but nothing that is out of tolerance. She has demonstrated adaptive behaviors to the conditions sustained at the academy. Overseer Alecor ensures Imperial Intelligence that these behavior adoptions are on the most part ideal for a prospective Sith. With this in mind, the psychological evaluation concludes the candidate is acceptably healthy. 
[h3][sub]List and description of known and suspected flaws. To be put into restricted database.[/sub][/h3]During psychological assessment, the psychological assessment authority noted an interesting combination of adaptive behaviors. On one hand, Atria has actively withdrawn from socialization in most ways available to her. She is known to be wary of her cohort and apprehensive of authority, which behavior has since intensified since she has entered specialist training for battle meditation. This is not particularly bad behavior - in fact, it's a behavior taught by the academy - but it's the way it interacts with the other adaptive behavior that makes it noteworthy. Atria is dependent on a number of things: significantly the academy, her overseer, and the spotlight that's been shone on her since she was discovered as capable of battle meditation. We suspect this derives from her past as a slave. It is suspected that this combination may make her easy to manipulate with specific approaches. To some extent, this is ideal to the success of the Empire as she can be reliably controlled and utilized, but this makes her a liability if she is captured by Republic or Jedi Order elements. If she is captured for too long, assassination may be an ideal solution at risk of excessive exposure to Jedi philosophy and personnel. Further training regarding Sith philosophy and force application is underway to mitigate the chances of such an outcome. 

More mundanely, there are a select number of skills that Atria is near flat out incompetent in. She understands the basics of computers and not much else and is not at all familiar with operating planetside or spatial vehicles. 
[h3][sub]Known interests of the candidate.[/sub][/h3]Atria displays a stark lack of interests. She has become almost entirely immersed in the academy environment. She spends much of her spare time studying, training, preparing, and exercising. To facilitate this, a special case exception has been made to allow her extended access to sensitive holocrons, namely relating to battle meditation and related fields, while under adequite supervision. This outcome regarding her broader interests is noted as ideal by Overseer Alecor.
[h3][sub]Major achievements on record.[/sub][/h3]Atria has successfully demonstrated the ability to use battle meditation in a combat environment, albeit in a controlled test. In the controlled test, two teams of three Sith warriors fought to a score of 4 to 6. The next day, with Atria's intervention, the same teams fought to a score of 8 to 2.

SUBJECT: Atria K'avel. Sith Acolyte.
INTERVIEWER: What were you before you came to the Sith Academy? 
SUBJECT: I was a slave on Dromund Kaas. I don't remember much. I've been told that my uncle and his friends raised me as most of my family were working elsewhere.
INTERVIEWER: As slaves?
SUBJECT: As slaves. 
INTERVIEWER: Were you worked as a child? 
SUBJECT: Again, I don't remember much, but I've been told I did menial work such as taking lights into crawlspaces and helping with laundry for the other slaves. 
INTERVIEWER: I see. When were you discovered as a force-sensitive? 
SUBJECT: I had recently turned six years old. I was tested for force sensitivity as a matter of course. I arrived at the Sith Academy within the month. 
INTERVIEWER: Do you remember being tested? 
SUBJECT: Only faintly.
INTERVIEWER: Do you miss your family? 
SUBJECT: I hardly knew them. I don't even know who they are or what they're doing, or if they're still alive. The overseers have taken care of the rest.
INTERVIEWER: I see. Tell me about your time as a neophyte.
SUBJECT: I struggled for a long time. I wasn't at all physically fit- hardly even capable for that matter. It was my first exposure to academics and I struggled to understand basic concepts for a long time. I didn't even know the force existed before I arrived at the academy. I'm sure my record describes the many times I was disciplined by the overseers.
INTERVIEW: Your record also describes you eventually came up to par, no less than 2 years before becoming an acolyte. Tell me about your time as an acolyte, before the... "incident" with Overseer Liat. 
SUBJECT [after some delay]: We'd all heard the stories about the acolytes. We understood that the implication is that they kill one another without [i]killing[/i] one another. We understood that we had nowhere else to go but up or likely under. So I made every effort to keep to myself. I focused mostly on fighting. I figured that if I could survive the academy, I could teach myself the rest later. 
INTERVIEWER: Your reports reflect that. You were an excellent fighter before the Liat incident. Now I understand you've fallen behind.
SUBJECT: Regrettably, yes, but the order needs what I have elsewhere. I will serve. 
INTERVIEWER: And for the record, what exactly is it that you have? 
SUBJECT [after some delay]: I have the ability to practice category 2 battle meditation.
INTERVIEWER: You understand that battle meditators are extremely rare and an undeniable asset to the order and to the empire? 
SUBJECT: I understand. Many of my other training fields are secondary and the traditional methods of the academy do not apply. I will serve.
INTERVIEWER: Well your patriotism is commendable. Now tell me about how you were discovered as a battle meditator. 
SUBJECT: We were rotating between meditating and sparring in a controlled class by Overseer Liat. Four students would fight and the rest would meditate. The idea was to sense emotion from the battles and draw power from it, then apply that power in our own fight. 
INTERVIEWER: A common exercise. Go on. 
SUBJECT: I did just that. I sensed the emotion, I picked it out from the white noise, and I focused on it. I then found that I could visualize the battle - to follow it and even premonition it in my mind's eye. As I focused on the battle, I projected my hopes onto it, and much of the time they happened. It was uncanny and the overseer noticed it. 
INTERVIEWER: You were evaluated shortly after?
SUBJECT: By a council of inquisitors and lords, yes. 
INTERVIEWER: I see. What happened afterward pertaining to Overseer Liat? 
SUBJECT: The order deemed it appropriate that my training is strictly managed. I was removed from many classes and exempted from many training outcome measures. Instead, I was taught by several lords regarding the force and how to wield it. This mostly related to battle meditation. Overseer Liat did not approve so he thought to make up for the lost time by sending me on more dangerous and demanding trials.

SUBJECT: He was recalled by his master to Dromund Kaas. He no longer serves at the academy.
INTERVIEWER: How prudent. Tell me about your life since.
SUBJECT: I've continued with my training more intently. Battle meditation has been my primary focus. I've been practicing the light method, which relates to influencing instead of dominating. There has been a focus on teaching me how to dominate minds to practice Sith battle meditation, but my understanding is that truly practicing Sith battle meditation may be an unachievable goal in one lifetime. 
INTERVIEWER: I understand that there are many of your betters with a vested interest in your success. I have documents here that detail Sith and Imperial personnel both inquiring about the status of your training. How do you feel about this direction in your... career?
SUBJECT: My understanding is that the occurrence of battle meditation capabilities is not only rare but also pertinent to the success of the Empire. It is a blessing to be able to serve with the capability such as the one I have.
