To clarify any misconceptions:

[b]All[/b] classes [b]can[/b] learn magic/spells, Mages just have an [i]easier[/i] time increasing their Magic Stat and gaining Magic-related Personal Skills. Mages [b]can[/b] fight using weapons, but they're [i]usually[/i] not [i]as[/i] good as Adventurers who primarily focus on that aspect.

I've also added the 'Magic, Spells & Chants'-link in the 'Important Information' part of the first post, in case anyone wants or needs to read up on that.  It contains some very useful information, like the different types of magic, what happens if you fail at spellcasting and contains a long list of spells and their respective chants.
