It's a slow Sunday night, so what better than to drop a Naruto Interest Check?! Greetings and welcome to another Naruto roleplay. Like most Naruto roleplays this one will be AU with most of the elements of canon intact, save for major names and shinobi that would otherwise ruin the immersion of the story. With that said, I haven’t seen many active Naruto RP’s here on the site, so I hope to change that and usher in a new era of Japanese weebery. In this specific RP we will be heavily focusing on one village, Kirigakure no Sato or in this timeline better known as Chigiri no Sato. The majority of the RP will start and take place within the walls of the bloody mist and focus on each unique aspect of the village at its height. In this I mean we will be experiencing the nuances and difference in each caste system, the implementation of the battle royal-esque graduation exam before Zabuza solo’d it, and the grim and dark politics that arose from the totalitarian style government that ruled the village at that time. Speaking of dark and grim, the conjecture of coming into this RP is to expect that it will follow that of the anime and manga. Yes, there will be light hearted moments, but we won’t be strangers to what make ninja’s ninja. Death, sacrifice, and just about everything in between will be integral to making a both cohesive and immersive experience for this RP. On that note, as stated before, this RP will take place in the time period between the Second and Third shinobi world war. You will be playing a genin under the delegation of one of three Jonin; both you and your squad-mates and jonin will be from varying castes, allowing an extra element to factor in with organic conversation. Your genin will be one of many vying for the chance to graduate the academy in the battle royal and become a ninja. I’m looking for a small cast of 6-9 very committed players in order to facilitate a memorable experience in hopes of longevity and significance. If this sounds like a fit for you please feel free to express interest and/or ask any questions you may have. Thank you.
