【 Appearance 】
Sarah is very thin and below the average height. She wears black dresses mostly but on better days she can change in a vibrant blue one, her favourite dress. All her clothes hang loose around her body. Her short red hair is messy most days. You can see Sarah with her headphones around her neck or on her ears, she never puts her headphones and music player away. Her brown eyes have an empty look quite often in them but they can come alive on her better days.

【 Why are you at Spring Hill? 】
Sarah has depression after she lost her child a few weeks before she was due. Her parents took her in again to help her get over it. After a while, she suspected her parents to have a hand in the miscarriage as they never had been happy about her being pregnant. So she didn't trust them that they were helping her now. Sarah thought it was better to go to Spring Hill to try and get out of the depression.

【 Negative Effects 】
The drugs make her apathetic. When it is at its peak she is almost completely unresponsive. Her mind stays active though but she is trapped in her unresponsive body. In the hours the drug level is low enough to function properly, she is restless and constantly fidgeting 

【 Positive Effects 】
Sarah thought she had very livid dreams or even lucid dreams and daydreams but over time she noticed her essence, her soul, was actually going out of her body. She is gaining the ability to do astral projection. She can roam on the astral plane and she can astral project herself anywhere she wants but is limited in a distance because of the connection with her physical body so she can't go much further than the Spring Hill grounds, on the astral plane she can go further but if she goes too far the connection with her body may sever and she would die, on the astral planes she cannot cross bodies of water. Even small streams are barriers she can't pass in her early stages. Rivers she can never pass. Also, people can't feel her astral touch and she can't make audible sounds for physical ears when she is in astral projection so she can't be felt, seen or heard unless someone with a sixth sense or telepathy is near enough. Sarah gets tired when she gets back to her body, the further she goes and the longer she stays out of her body the harder the fatigue strikes.

【 Personality 】
Sarah is sarcastic, curt, impatient and patronizing. But she also is level-headed, has a good sense of just and contemplative. 

Sarah is not very social and often doesn't want to engage in chit-chat. When someone gets on her nerves or when they surprise her she gets curt and sarcastic. She has very little patience with people. If she tries to explain things her tone and attitude can be perceived as patronizing although she doesn't see it herself. Sarah is however very level headed and thinks before she speaks which, she will rarely act on emotion and usually see the bigger picture because of it and can make educated decisions. Her sense of just is very strong and she can't stand it if people are being treated unfairly by others or if people are being harmed by others. 


【 Biography 】
Sarah has been borderline anorexic in her teen years, her suffocating helicopter parents didn't make her life easy. She tried very hard to please them and make good grades but she felt like she was drowning.
 
In her last year in highschool she met a 'bad boy' and in a rebellious act, she started seeing him. He actually helped her see how strict and overbearing her parents were and that the whole world was open for her. When she got pregnant before their first year anniversary her parents were not exactly thrilled but Sarah was adamant to keep the baby. The father of her baby did help her at first when she needed but it wasn't love anymore as their relationship hadn't been based on love but annoying their parents. When the father found his love she gave him his freedom. 

Sarah's parents took over the care when she had a rough moment and Sarah's pregnancy got harder and harder to bear until she miscarried in only a few weeks before she was due. The reason that was told her by her parents was simply complications. The days went by in a blur and she tried very hard to keep the truth away. Sarah sunk in a depression that let her apathetic and lethargic mostly. For hours she stared out of the window, only listening to music.

Sarah overheard neighbours talking once, when she was sitting near an open window, about how strange it was how her pregnancy got more difficult as it progressed and how she wasn't getting out her depression now. That her parents now had her caged like they always wanted. Those gossips made Sarah think about it and she decided that those gossips might have some truth in them. In her mind she went over what had happened in the past years and became more and more distrusting about her parents. In a clear moment, she packed her bag and left to check in to the place she had read about in a magazine in the waiting room of a doctor. Spring Hill. Her doctor had seen her read about it and praised their good work.

Sarah left her parents a note, send her ex a letter and went on her way. Even though the experiences have made her wary of people and very distrustful she is willing to give the experts and staff of Spring Hill a chance. Anything better then her lying and deceiving parents right? What could go wrong in a facility that her doctor praised, he surely knew what was good for her.

In the six months she has been there she still was sitting most of the time in front of the window listening to music. Slowly she started to wander around and observe the others. Not always participating in conversations but listening and making remarks now and then, sometimes sarcastic or snappy other times friendly advice or encouragement. Now she is at the point where she is slowly finding her place and interact more with her fellow patients.
