[b]Clothing Style[/b] [u]//[/u] Nikai is one of those guys whose attire adapts to the season. For Summer and spring, he wears tanks, T’s, and shorts with the occasional jeans and bandanas thrown in). However, for colder weather, he layers up as much as he needs to. But, I suppose, when it all comes down to it, Kai’s all about the breezy lifestyle. His hobbies demand he wears loose and comfortable clothing.
[b]Scars, Piercings, and Tattoos[/b] [u]//[/u] As far as piercings are concerned, he only has his ears pierced. Kai does, however, have a nasty scar on his upper-back (around his left shoulder blade) from when his back scraped against a jagged rock. Though it has healed completely, there is a noticeable scar.

[indent]Kai wants to move back to Australia some day but that costs a lot of money, so right now he’s fixated on making it big in either hollywood due to his athleticism or snowboarding cause he’s apparently really good at it.[/indent]

[u]Brief history:[/u]
[indent]Kai was born and partially raised in Sydney, Australia. And he loves his home country. Ask anyone and he’ll express immense pride about being from down under. He bleeds the salty air and kicks in the nuts a lot of people get from Kangaroos, mainly yanks. Kai’s life in Australia was about as normal as it could be. He spent a majority of the first half of his life in Sydney with his parents and older sister, but she moved to America when he was just sven and when she was twenty, so there’s definitely a big age gap between the two of them. And for five more years, Kai just kept doing what he had been doing, but unfortunately, without the presence of his older sister who everyone knew to be a scrapper and overprotective of her little brother, people targeted him. See, in Australia, it wasn’t uncommon for older kids to target kids like Kai who, for all intents and purposes, was a little bigger than than the ten-year-olds. 

And that made him a target. And after getting into one fight too many, his parents made, much like Will’s mother in Fresh Prince, sent him to live with his older sister, Maia, in Westworth, Colorado. He was sad about this, but it was for the best. Kai was getting into fights daily and something had to be done to stop him from, well you know, dying! So, he lives with Maia, who is a high school teacher, in Wentworth and has been since he was thirteen.

Growing up in Wentworth was something of a culture shock. Kai had lived a decent amount of his life in Australia and was used to the customs there, but being thrown into foreign waters threw him for a loop and again, like his life in Australia, he became a target because he sounded and acted differently. But unlike in Sydney, once he defended himself a few times, people just started to leave him alone. One thing he sorely missed was surfing. Kai was an avid surfer but not being near the beach severely limited his options, so he had to deal with what he referred to as “Frozen Surfing”. Others called it snowboarding, but Kai didn’t like that term. It felt misleading to him. Either way, he took that up and found out it wasn’t that different. It was cold but the same mechanics applied and before long, Kai was a natural. He also enjoyed fishing and camping, which explains why he offered to be a camp counselor at Camp Red Arrow.
