You and Pylia put the gemstones into the slots, and one by one the metal shut around them, forming an uncanny eye look. But once all of the eyes have been placed, they began to glow brightly, bright enough to illuminate the room as the door opened upwards and revealing a large stone staircase leading upwards. Shortfang loads a bolt into his crossbow and grasps his sword. "Be careful." He took the lead as the group went up the staircase and into the next hall. Inside this hall it was much larger, almost as big as the previous hall with the skeleton mage. It looked like some parts of the ceiling had fallen over time, crushing one pillar and leaving a large boulder in between two other ones. Somehow though, there were torches in this hall that were still lit but the flames were a bright green instead of a regular red flame. “Continuous Flame.” Pylia explains. “A magic spell that creates magic fire that always burns, but doesn’t radiate any heat.” In the illumination of the magical flames was a dark altar. However there was also something else in the corner. A strange amount of foliage and plantlife, despite the total lack of water and sunlight here. It looked like it was growing from something here. Pylia and Shortfang approached cautiously. “What that?” Shortfang says as he peers closely. Pylia looked around the surroundings before raising the lantern to get a closer look at the plants. "Looks like... A body...."
