Stephen was a freshman studying forensic science at a university in the eastern United States, whereas his daughter was in secondary school in England. He had seen Leda relatively recently for Christmas, and while he would have loved to go see her in England as well, he enjoyed spending time with his son and clearing his head. He even took Stephen out to get cupcakes, feeling a compulsion to do so. His kids were the best parts of him and it had helped him to clear his head. Of course, that didn't mean that he didn't intend to do everything in his power to get Bobbi and Wesley fired - he would just have to wait for another epic failure of theirs. He doubted that would take long. For the next three weeks, he was working on the Andrew Problem. The little cupcake eater was dead, but he wanted to recover what he could from Andrew's files about his final moments. He had been in Gardner's office after all and there was still something suspicious about the CEO. Watts had banished everyone else from the R&D lab, sending them off to work in other lab spaces as he recovered and categorized every little piece of metal he found. All of it was traced back to the splicer - he couldn't find a single part of Andrew's suit. When it came to Andrew's computer, most of his files had been deleted. That was troubling to say the least. The computer log indicated that the deletion had happened after the explosion, so someone else must have gone into the lab to get rid of them. Watts was willing to bet a few hundred dollars that he could blame Wesley and Bobbi for that too. The videos he managed to recover only brought up more questions. They revealed to him a few key facts. The first was that Andrew had found schematics for a device in Gardner's office that would theoretically allow someone to switch bodies with another person. The second was that during the explosion, Andrew had shrunk down to a microscopic level - there was a chance that he had survived, his suit stuck and damaged beyond repair preventing him from returning to normal size. He ran a hand through his hair, before he opened up his comm line and spoke quickly, but firmly. "Nightingale, you are needed in the R&D lab - now."
