Sylvia wasn't surprised that the phrase had no meaning to him, but it was still worth asking. She listened as he spoke, about how he was made for battle and war. After he mentioned that the reason for finding him, Sylvia thought out loud, "I didn't even realize you existed, and weren't just a dream, until after Andrews spoke up about his. The only other vision I had was...that...black dragon..." Her words slowed down with dread. Was the being or god that brought her here giving these visions as well? Were they really expecting her to fight a dragon? She snapped out of her dread when he spoke again, this time about what he thought of her. She had to admit, it was kind of flattering that someone strong like him thought of her as strong and brave as well. But, she thought otherwise of herself. She stood up at the invitation, and answered "I wouldn't call myself a warrior. My past has not prepared me for any sort of war whatsoever. But, I'm okay with joining for a spar. There's just one more question," "How are we going to spar, if the ring only allows us to communicate and not interact with each other?" Her question was soon answered as they began to spar. Sylvia at first found that while her speed was helpful against a big guy like Buddy, her normal attacks did nothing to hurt him. Instead she found that she only bruised herself and risked breaking her own bones against his armor. She winced in pain every time she landed a hit on him. Thankfully, Buddy taught her a few tricks. He took a moment to teach her how to channel divine energy. She decided to try and channel her ki, and soon enough she was firing radiant bolts of sunlight at Buddy! Not only that, but he also taught her how to deflect missiles, and even the theory of catching the missiles and throwing them back at the enemy that fired them at her. She found that she learned a lot from Buddy's sparring match.
