Personal Information: Name: Brozar Fjordstone Alias: Thunderclap, Beard-face, Pervy Dwarf, Uncle Greed Age: 40 Gender: Male Race: Dwarf Appearance:

Brozar sports the typical, unimaginative appearance of a male dwarf. His face is bearded, his shoulders are wide, his body is stocky and his voice is gruff. He has a bit more color to his skin than most dwarves though, likely due to the outdoor-forge at Warrior's Rest. When not in the Dungeon, he dresses rather plainly and unremarkably; Wearing a sleeveless brown vest, reddish pants and his fur-lined boots. When working the forge, Brozar dons a tan work-shirt, black thick pants and a brown apron. He also pulls down the goggles on his over his eyes. Speaking of which, he wears a pair of plain-looking, but nontheless enchanted, goggles atop his head at seemingly all times - even when he's asleep. Though some might joke and call him fat, Brozar is actually extremely fit and muscular, it's just that his short stature makes him very compact and broad-looking. Height: 5' / 151 cm Weight: 176 lb / 80 kg Eye color: Brown Hair color: Wheat Personality: Brozar is a good-natured, open-minded and life-loving individual. He enjoys having fun and being in merry company, as well as talking to and making new acquaintances. He's big on feasts and drink, and loves listening to peoples' tales or songs - if they're good at it. There's nothing that kills the mood as quickly as som tone-deaf drunk tying to pass themselves of as a muse or bard... While he enjoys most food and drink, he doesn't like the taste of most green vegetables, though he is fine with other colored fruits and greens, he claims that they have a strange taste. The dwarf also loves smithing and forging, spending a great deal of his time on it. He is however completely disconcerned with ideas such as being the best or most recognized smith, rather, he smiths and makes things because he finds it enjoyable. He has no interest in other peoples' work other than to appreciate, or scorn, it for what it is. this non-competetive streak extends to all manner of things in Brozar's life though, and as such he's an extremely gracious loser and a very generous and affable winner. Life isn't about winning or losing, it's about enjoying whatever it is you do - so the dwarf says at least. He does however have his flaws like anyone though. For one, he is a terrible morning-person and will be rude, in a foul mood and unattentive for the first hour or so after he wakes up. Secondly, even if it's his own Familia, Brozar does nothing for free - other then very small things like sharpening a blade or patching a hole in some armor, if you want his steel, you pay the man's fee. He's also somewhat lecherous, often attempting to squeeze a feel on any pretty lady's tush, if the opportunity presents itself - even if said action gets him a face-full-of-fist. Finally, while Brozar enjoys smithing,h is real passion is actually making jewellery and accessories. He absolutely loves working with precious metals and gems, and can be almost unreachable when he goes into a focused state of mind where all his attention is devoted to gem-cutting, fitting and pattern-weaving. The dwarf sells most of what he makes at the Free Market, making him one of the wealthier members of the Athena Familia. He spent his early life helping his family with various chores and minor tasks, until he was old enough to start being an apprentice at his father's forge. As expected of a son to a blacksmith, the boy had fire and iron in his veins and showed a natural profiency for the craft. However, making shovels and pickaxes day in and day out wasn't exactly fun or exciting, just monotone and dull. That changed however, when a band of travllers from the great city in the distance came passing through. They all had such finely crafted items with them that Brozar couldn't help but pester them about their weapons, armor and especially their finely crafted accessories. The travellers didn't mind so much though, and told the young dwarf all about the city of Orario, about the Familia and the Dungeon there. Eyes sparkling with child-like wonder, the dwarf went to speak to his father - a conservative man who believed in tradtions. Needless to say, the latter was none to keen on letting his boy run off to some big city when he was the future of the family - well, save for his two younger brothers and young sister... Brozar begrudgingly accepted his father decision though, for a while at least. Though after some more time had passed, the repetition of the daily labor became so mindnumbingly dull that the dwarf almost let out a raging roar of boredom. Instead however, he opted to challenge his father. If he could prove he was a better smith than the man who had taught him everything he knew, then his talents were wasted on a small village like this. Conversely, if he couldn't out-do his papa, he was to stay quiet and work hard at the village for the rest of his days. And so, the contest was on! Brozar outright crushed his father in every single category, mortally wounding the older dwarf's confidence and ego. With the deal struck, Brozar said goodbye to his family and set out for Orario. Once arriving, he at once joined the Hephaestus Familia and got to work in their splendid facilities... However, something was always bugging the dwarf about his new enviroment. The smiths here all seemed more interested in outshining each other and being the most sought-after provider of items. Sure, being skilled wasn't bad and having customers were important - but that wasn't what the dwarf was after. He just wanted to make fine things like the gear and items those travllers that came to his village had worn. When the other members of his Familia heard this, they either berated him, laughed at his naivety or began to bully and belittle his "lack of drive". After half a year of this, Brozar got fed up. He confrotned the Goddess of the Smithing Familia and engaged in a heated discussion. Eventually, the dwarf's stubborness prevailed and Hephaestus released him from her Familia. After which, he wandered Orario for a few weeks, doing nothing but living on the earnings he had made previously. Eventually though, a certain Chienthrope overheard the dwarf talking to some others at a tavern, about his home, his dreams and his experience with his old Familia. Offering the dwarf a more relaxed and appreciative home, Grent invited Brozar to Warrior's Rest. This was back before the events of six years ago, so Athena was still her usual self at the time. She gave the dwarf the trial, and he passed with flying colors, being acknowledged and accepted. Brozar was then astonished as Athena had a forge installed in the backyard of tge Familia's Home, just for him. She stated that it was a Goddess duty to provide for her children, regardless of what path they walked. The dwarf is said to have cried buckets of joy, though he adamantly rebukes this part of the story to this day. Since then, Brozar Fjordstone has been a stalwart, dedicated and loyal member of the Familia and loves it, and his Goddess, more than he will ever admit.
