Sylvia blinked at the mention that Shortfang may have used a ritual to save a life, and that the apples may have helped heal a little. Did he accidentally fire a crossbow bolt at Syfr? She didn't ask though, since Shortfang waved the topic, clearly not wanting to talk about it further. 

Either way, it seemed as though she wasn't the only one who picked up some new tricks. 

She smiled brightly when he introduced the owl as Syfr, and she answered, "Syfr seems to like you! I'm glad you found a new friend!" 

She then informed him as she continued cooking breakfast, "Well, Pylia and the others aren't up yet. Buddy..." She looked to the robot and she commented "I'm not sure if he's been awake the entire time or if he slept at all..." She wasn't even sure if her dream was real or not.
