Well, that answered one pressing question. Pixies did not talk. Which meant that he was an oddity. The man indicated the goblin he was with, saying that she could speak too. That was enough to give him pause. Ash had mentioned meeting a female goblin unlike the others… was this her? Was she like him?

I came from a cave, somewhere over that way.”[/color] He gestured in a direction that probably wasn’t right, given the times he’d gotten turned around. [color=8dc73f]“Please, I just want to get out of this forest. If you take me somewhere safe, I… I’ll try and explain. I can help! I can heal, and - and…”[/color]

The pixie visibly deflated, and his chin lowered to his chest. He kicked at the dirt.

That was a lie. But it was also partially true. It didn't matter.
