Although the ambitious youth would find himself sleeping in until midday, he had decided to prepare himself for the journey he had told himself to take. Fame. Glory. Prestige. These were all things that motivated Kuroi to set out from home to attempt to become one of the best duelists Avalia has ever seen. In his small pouch, he made sure to add a few more tools to his arsenal; caltrops, steel wire, smoke bombs, and even his pair of climbing claws if he ever needed to scale something beyond normal capabilities. Besides the minuscule amount of wealth he had recently acquiring from the tournament, there wasn't much else Kuroi could think of that he would need to bring along with him. After setting everything at the door, moonlight gleaming through the window invited Kuroi to take a walk around town one last time despite the darkness. He would definitely return to Roshmi City, especially if another tournament was taking place. However, he expected he wouldn't return to see his hometown for quite some time. A few months perhaps? Definitely no more than a year but it would be quite some time nonetheless. His parents already knew of his ambitions and how he would disappear after his final meal with them once the sun was in the sky. Opening the door and stepping outside, Kuroi breathed in the fresh air. He gently closed the door behind him, making sure little sound emanated before venturing onwards into the night.
