Physical Description: The Iouaswahili are an odd race even among the odd races of the world. First, they lack a proper backbone using a hardened form of gelatinous material to act as the back bone. Their skin is akin to a rough leather providing a good amount of protection. Males have a mask that can be retracted at will. As Males are typically hunters. They have tails but they can also retract their tails to make 5-toed webbed feet. WHile unmasked their faces look very human.  And they don't have blood just a super-critical material acting as their blood. Coincidently their "blood" is extremely toxic to other life forms.

Behavior: The Iouaswahili is a mix of communal and individualist. As they are very strong-willed and determined and ready to achieve their goals despite the cost. They are realists and aren't dreamers seeking practical ideas. 
However the only thing stronger then their determination is possibly a duty to protect their loved ones and their community. Maybe.
