Blasted backwards by the Scarlet Witch's ruby red powers, she flailed slightly in the air, fully expecting to slam into the ground hard. Instead, her descent was abruptly halted as someone caught her. Part of her didn't believe it, even when Pietro's blue eyes were looking into her own blue-green ones, and even as he got her back onto her feet. Yeah, I'm good. And whereas Wanda's last straw had been Pietro not instantly siding with her, for Guin it was seeing Wanda control him, denying him his free will. "Okay, Scarlet Bitch, I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt," Guin snapped, glaring at Wanda as she put a finger to her head and started working on telepathically releasing Pietro from Wanda's grasp. It took her a couple of tries, yet she managed to free him in the end. "I've about had it with your pompous, villainous ass," she added, before turning her powers on Wanda. Her goal was to knock the princess unconscious, allowing them to put some sort of power inhibiting device on her so they could get to the bottom of what happened without her attacking them, but she failed miserably. Instead, her tries only amounted to giving Wanda a major headache. Maybe that would be a good superhero name for her in this other world Allison talked about - Migraine. "Hey, Ally, wanna give her hell?" Guin asked. You okay, babe?

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: The Human Resistance HQ - New York Skills: Eldritch Magic
Novikova raised an eyebrow. "Oh, she definitely will have a sling ring - it's not like Magneto's forces would think to search her and confiscate it from her. Nope, not at all," she said dryly, though each word was dripping with pure sarcasm. Max seemed to have located the most famous groups, but there were a lot of agents in S.H.I.E.L.D. who comprised the Secret Warriors - the codename for the squad that Barton and Abercrombie led. She didn't have a lot of confidence in these random mutants that Max proclaimed to know. At the very least, James was continuing to prove competent as he healed her leg. She really missed Tempest. The sarcastic hacker was an expert at healing, having saved their lives countless times on missions. She shrugged off James' apology about being a complete nightmare. "It's whatever. You didn't sell us out to HYDRA, so we're square." Novikova nodded at her girlfriend's assessment - they would need to split up in order to cover more ground quickly. So far, her power set seemed to be the key in restoring people's memories and since Maria could copy that power, that meant they would end up in different groups. She didn't like it, but it was what needed to be done in order to save the world. Maybe those with the magic would be able to restore memories, that would help with the recruitment drive significantly. "If Maria absorbs my dimensional energy perception, then she can restore memories as well. That would leave us with two teams - and it sounds like the major locations are New York and Louisiana. And since we have two people here with magic, then we can have ease of transportation for both teams," Novikova proposed. Runa opened her eyes, seeing a forest of feet! She blinked slightly, confused as to why she was getting such an in depth look at everyone's footwear. The last thing she remembered was some spoiled brat attacking her at King Erik's palace. Propping herself up on her elbows, she looked up and frantically tried to spot her cousin, Klara, but she wasn't there. Her heart skipped a beat and she quickly performed a small little spell, wanting to know where exactly Klara had gone off to. She managed to locate her within seconds - Klara was in the palace still, armed with her sword and a sling ring. She let out a sigh of relief. "Klara is fine... She has retrieved her sword and her sling ring," she said softly to Lance. Standing back up to her feet, Runa felt a little sick. Changing the world back would mean that Lance had never met her. It would mean that she would be an Asgardian again, ostracized for the nature of her powers and the fear of what she might become. While her father was Baldur the Beautiful, beloved by practically every living creature in the Nine Realms, she was the stain upon the House of Odin. Biting her lip slightly, Runa moved to the back of the crowd, wishing that she was invisible. This life had been very nice when she woke up that fateful morning, even taking into account the events with the Red Guard.

Casper Theriot

Location: the Crown Room - Baton Rouge Skills: Mediumship
Casper instantly backed off from Bobbi, raising his hands up in the air to show he didn't mean her any harm. Just because the world had changed didn't mean he wasn't firmly aware of the importance of consent. If she didn't want him trying to help or touching her, then he wasn't about to push it - especially not in the #MeToo era. "Désolé," he apologized instantly, before slowly lowering his hands to his side. However, he didn't agree with the last thing she said - about finishing this job. If they gave the infinity stone over to the Thieves Guild, they were just asking for another world conquest by someone somehow even worse than Magneto. "I vote we throw this thing into the bottom of the Ocean," Casper proposed. "It'll be safe for a while until it freezes and emerges as the new Captain America." "... That is not how that works, but okay," Ben muttered, a bit exasperated with Casper - but then again, when wasn't Ben annoyed with him? "Ben agrees with me, by the way," Casper lied. Ben tried to flick him in the eye, only for his ghostly fingers to just pass through Casper. It seemed that Ben couldn't just become a physical being at will - he needed Casper's help to do it. "You are such a bad liar, Cassie..." Though as Jack explained how they had come to be a part of this organization, Casper wasn't all too surprised. Their mother was a criminal for all intents and purposes, and as far as he was aware, she had never really tried to stop. In the real world, she had been a member of the Brotherhood - he guessed being a thief here wasn't too much of a stretch. "Who was the kid's mom - Leighton or Ice Queen or whatever her name was?" Casper asked, a bit curious. "Shit," Ben cursed, as Mary and Anastasia came into the room. Casper gave his ghost friend a somehow assuring look that plain said I've got this. "Nope, it isn't here. We think that this is where it should be, but someone might have come in here and stole it before us... Either that or they figured out we were coming and moved it."
