Ashley is the middle child of nine children. Her parents died a few years ago in a fire.
She is trained to be a leather worker and completed her apprenticeship to become a journeywoman. She was originally brought into the service to work leather for harnesses and saddles. 

She has some magical talents towards healing and mending.
