Whilst I don't have a problem with it, that might also work as a second character or a first one. Utarah based races as well offer that ideal, and if we find some workarounds the very same kind of thing with them. Like the statement above, I was intending on the major characters being only parts of the 4 main races. Secondary characters and more MC's being made by yourself are also allowed, just as I think it might be wise to mix things up a bit. We'll see, of course, it could work very well.
