Welcome to the basic interest check for Styria: Years of Blood. The map and the name of the roleplay are shamelessly ripped from Joe Abercrombie's - Best Served Cold. If you have read the book, awesome, if not, no biggy since we're only keeping map, name, and general premise of violent death/chaos.

This will be an RP set in Styria, a land ripped apart by constant conflict between human city states. Our technology level is pre-gunpowder to keep things simple. The basic idea will be to focus on the war, diplomatic and political wrangling. Alliances are ever changing, each side trying to outfox the other as the leaders of various city-states vie for power and the ultimate prize of King or Queen of Styria.

I am looking for four or more persons willing to take on one of the city-states and join me in writing a bloody epic.

I have a couple of concepts in mind. Currently considering a scrappy underdog cast of characters from Corontiz or Big Bad(TM) from Visserine. I'll watch for a while and see what roles get filled and take a role that I feel best suits the RP.

Just wondering, is there a CS format we can look at? so we can conceptualize our cities while waiting for other players.
