[indent]Jessica regards herself as one of the best fashionistas, if not THE best fashionista at this whole academy. Her sense of style is impeccable and she always keeps up with the latest trends in fashion, sometimes even being able to predict them before VSCO girls catch up to them. In addition, her makeup skills are top-notch. You give her a palette and some brushes and she'll turn even the worst looking of ogres into someone beautiful. She hardly ever goes without something on her face, at the expense of taking nearly an hour just to make herself look pretty.[/indent]

[indent]It is very hard to describe Jessica. A variety of people will have a spectrum of opinions about her, from a bitch of the highest caliber to the sweetest angel on Earth. A very consistent trait that people bring up is her ability to talk her way in and out of any situation. Well, nearly. It is also very apparent that she does most things that she does solely for her own personal gain, but you can take solace in the fact that she will do things for other people to make herself feel better. Don't take it as her pitying you, even though she most definitely is. It's hard to determine what exactly she'll do and when she'll do it, so don't bet on her doing something unless you're more than sure it'll benefit her.[/indent]

[indent]Jessica had always been a daddy's little girl. It was very easy to be the center of attention when you were the only child of an ungodly rich father. Whatever she wanted, she got it. Toys, makeup, clothes, cars, electronics -- you named it, she could've talked her way into getting it. As soon as she could speak, she could always figure out a way to get what she wanted. 

However, Jessica didn't know much about her mother growing up. Whenever she asked about her mom, her father always avoided the topic. It was the one thing she could never pull from her father, as much as she wanted to. The answer to the question "Where's mommy?" was something that Jessica couldn't figure out growing up. It often resulted in it being used against her in her upbringing, whenever people got jealous of her and decided they wanted to rip her down. Needless to say, it didn't go so well.

It wasn't until her teenage years, when she found out that she was a child of Aphrodite. The only reason why she found out was because she was sent to Olympus Academy, against her wishes. It was one of the two things she couldn't convince her father to do. But, she quickly found out that it wasn't as bad as she thought it'd be. Being in touch with fellow children of Aphrodite quickly turned her life around. In what direction, we don't know yet, but it seems to be bright.[/indent]

Upon learning that her mother was a literal goddess, all negative sentiment melted away. Of course she had to go away, it wasn't like a god could stick around and be with a mortal. The relationship itself is still a little rocky, but that's because she'd never met her mother.[/indent]

Doesn't matter how insignificant the detail may be, she'll remember it clear as day. Remember that time you put your underwear on backwards that one day and nobody noticed? Well, Jessica actually noticed because she saw the tag sticking out of your pants and she still remembers it to this day, even if it happened many years ago. This doesn't apply to just people and personality traits, either. She'll remember details of a situation or things she has to learn. Studying comes easy to her.[/i]

I'll Deck You While You're Crying! | [i]Jessica has a very good ability when it comes to reading people. She'll figure out your deepest insecurities and vulnerabilities pretty quickly. Not in a single conversation quickly, but spend enough time with her and she'll figure out the actual reason why you wear baggy clothes all the time and cover your mouth while you smile.[/i]

Weaponized Depression | [i]Jessica can often manipulate people into feeling things. Does she want you to be happy? If she does, she'll manipulate you into being happy when you really shouldn't be. On the flip side, she'll manipulate you to be resentful toward your grandma who has been nothing but an absolute angel to you. It's all a matter of what she wants, and what she sees fit. And if you piss her off, she'll use your insecurities against you. She may even cause you to develop new insecurities.[/i]

One day things like infinity scarves are in and the next day it's like they never even existed. As a result, Zoey keeps to a rather simple wardrobe. No frilly shit that costs three figures -- just simple stuff like t-shirts, jeans, and hoodies galore. Makeup is also rather simple if she decides to wear it. Zoey opts to keep it off most of the time, but she likes to employ a rather natural palette moreso meant to hide her flaws than show off her strong suits.[/indent]

[indent]Zoey is a rather carefree and bubbly individual. She prefers to keep a rather positive and upbeat demeanor around her to keep herself from falling victim to the rather recent trend of teenagers and young adults falling victim to whatever mental ailment they have and being heavily afflicted by it. Not to mention that everyone she's met so far has been friendly, so it has rubbed off onto her. She'll try to socialize and be friendly with everyone, and hope that she can form a beneficial relationship between them. With that being said Zoey does have her moments and she does fall victim to her depression from time to time. It's a rather dark time when her depression hits her. [/indent]

[indent] Zoey Kepler was born in Portland, Oregon, USA to a single mother who just so happened to be a chef at a local diner. The whereabouts of her father were unknown for the most part during her uprising. She didn't understand why, but to everyone else she just seemed a little different than the others. There was nothing that could actually be pinpointed about her back then, but everyone didn't really mesh with her. Whether it'd be no common interests or the fact that they simply didn't like Zoey's face. Whatever the case may be, Zoey found herself rather isolated during her first few years. It didn't help that her father was nowhere to be seen, so whenever family events happened at school, Zoey was often left alone and parentless since her father was so busy tending to his diner and her father was... well you know what happened to her father.

Middle school was pretty much the same, only way worse. Puberty, acne, and braces. All of these things had only worsened Zoey's self esteem and confidence as she went through what is probably the worst years of her lives. It was endless teasing, bullying, and all of that fun stuff for no apparent reason other than the fact that she may have been different. Usual bully justification, y'know? Things about how chubby her cheeks were, how her eyes were green, or even going so far as to bringing up the fact that Zoey's father was nowhere to be seen and that her dad was pretty much never home as a kid. Asshole middle school kids were always doing their thing, and that wasn't a fun ride for Zoey as she grew up.

A few years later, though, the true nature of Zoey came up. In a random dinner conversation one day, Zoey merely teased her dad about the origins of her mom. Only, there was no obligatory joking response. He had set down his fork and told Zoey the truth. It had turned out the reason why Zoey was so different was that she was a half-blood; that there was an academy somewhere in the country that would be much better suited for her to go to in order to regain her confidence and be with people just like her. Without even blinking, Zoey agreed to go and that was how she got to where she is today.[/indent]

Very, Very Frightening! | [i]Zoey has the ability to summon lightning bolts at her command. Said lightning bolts will usually incapacitate or murder whoever just so unfortunately happens to be on the receiving end of it.[/i]

The Clap | [i]Zoey can also summon a thundershock at the clap of her hands. Unlike its lightning counterpart, it will only knock people and objects back. [/i]

What Percent You On? | [i]If you have a phone with wireless charging capabilities, and you leave your phone on Zoey's bare skin, it will charge. Not sure what kind of use it may have, but if you're in a pinch, just put your phone on Zoey's thigh or something. She doesn't know this yet, but she can also supply power to other things that aren't phones.[/i]

Faraday Cage | [i]Zoey can summon a barrier to protect herself and at max, three other peers whenever under danger. She rarely uses this though, and it cannot hold up to abilities beyond a certain threshold.[/i]
