With the blood of a demi-god flowing through his tastefully prominent vascularity, his muscles grow and maintain easier than most, all with the help of a consistent workout routine. Gus’ features are beautifully sculpted: seductive brown eyes, charming expressions, a contagious smile, and all the tone and beef a 6’ man should ever want. With perfect proportions of muscle and mass throughout his body, accompanied by a bone structure seemingly created for lust and beauty, he has nothing to worry about when it comes to aging or getting the lover he wants. Gus dresses in an array of styles, but generally decides on casual clothes. His wardrobe consists of casual jeans and tees, khakis and polo shirts, all the way to designer shoes and blazers, nerd glasses and hawaiian shirts. Gus enjoys experimenting with style and it differs depending on his mood and the weather. Regardless, Gus is always dressed nicely—but, truthfully, he can wear rags and be deemed a fashion statement.
[sub]Personality[/sub]
✰ Brave ✰ Daring ✰ Charming ✰ Determined ✰ Protective ✰ ✖ Hot-headed ✖ Disobedient ✖ Heartbreaker ✖ Lustful ✖

As the son of Hades, it would be abnormal for Gus to not be hot-headed and stubborn, while simultaneously possessing leadership qualities and a determined heart. A jock, a macho man, a womanizer, an athlete—Gus has acquired various titles and nicknames, all to provide more and more substance to his bolstering ego that he tries so hard to subdue. Gus, like any other teen notable for their strength, looks, and achievement, subconsciously becomes swallowed into an egotistical nature, finding trouble in being humble. The very few times he’s been knocked off his pedestal in life, he has not fared well, but this is something he’s trying to change. In turn, he takes pride in his skillset and the leadership essence within himself, but this helps to create his disobedient trait. Gus doesn’t do well when it comes to following the rules of others, especially ones that he considers arbitrary or unnecessary. Gus has more enemies than he does friends. Whether he’s hated based on envy or the overall distaste of his character, he isn’t fazed by the lack of companionship. This has made Gus become more selective of who it is that he befriends, and he becomes protective of those that he’s close to. Additionally, those that Gus deems unworthy of his friendship, he has no problem using or taking advantage of. This has made his identity become that of a cold-hearted asshole, but causing confusion in the ones that don’t always see this side of him. There is a very bold line in how he treats his circle of friends to those that aren’t his friends.

[sub]History[/sub]
They say that Italy is a place of beauty and history, wine and food, tradition and culture—and for Gus’ mother, it was exactly that. She was surrounded by these many great qualities that made Italy so exquisite, but she also fell under the crime and scrappy neighborhoods of the dark corners of the region. Gus’ mother was fierce, brave, and hot-headed. Sometimes Gus believed that his strength truly came from her, and not his godly father. Nevertheless, his mother had been in a head-over-heels relationship with Hades for quite some time, though her depiction of him was not the God of the Underworld, but instead as a simple man. And even in his disguise, Hades adored her vigor and her steadfastness. Even though she was many things—an addict, a low-life, a prostitute—she was always protective and strong, especially when it came to her family. She did what she had to do to provide and to survive. And it was in a night of quarrel in which his identity was revealed to her; in a gunfight to protect her family from a relentless gang of ruthless murderers and drug dealers. Little did she know, she unexpectedly brought a god to a gunfight, resulting in scorching flames, abominable beasts, and helpless screams of terror. Though it would be easy to assume that she’d be grateful, she instead became more scared than impressed. She hid her fearfulness of him for however long it took to find an escape. It wasn’t long before he granted her a great deal of wealth, and she used the money to flee the country and move to America, ridding Hades from hers and their soon-to-be-born child’s life. Shortly after her move, Gus made his appearance into the world with all the hot-headedness, stubbornness, and determination that rooted his being, all the while being hidden from his true identity. Be that as it may, he grew up happily and comfortably. The wealth of Hades got them far and left them in seclusion from his father. Gus and his mother built a strong bond despite their many fights as he aged. She did all the things a father would typically do with their son: teach him how to play sports, show him the world and it’s many lessons, teach him the dos and don’ts of friendship and love, become a healthy role model, teach him how to be a true man of a household(though she had that much covered). Gus excelled in school, becoming naturally smart and fit; he outgrew his classmates very fast. From an early age, he had adopted many traits of his mother and it became embedded in his nature the many different attributes of a leader and a go-getter. Things somehow came easy to Gus, but what was given to him was never enough to achieve fulfilment, so he would always strive for more. He didn’t stop at being accepted into a varsity football team, he became their reigning quarterback. He didn’t stop at simply taking high level courses, he aced them. He would set goals and be sure to achieve them to his best potential. Gus always knew that he was blessed with both intelligence and skill, but he didn’t question what it was that granted him such feats of strength and mind. However, his mother knew all-too-well what it was that created him to become the all-star of his high school. Though she took great credit in raising him, a vast portion is thanks to his godly heritage, coursing through his very veins to further gift him with much more than what he knew. For awhile, it was only these traits that differentiated him from his peers, but as time pressed on, he soon was faced with a strange display of his abilities. It was on a football field, in a heated argument with the enemy team. Rage took over him, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. But it was in this particular instance that would become his defining moment to spark the beginning of true power of a demi-god. It only took a few shouts by Gus to instill morbid and sinister fear into those around him, causing them to tremble in their shoes. As he raced the ball down the field, the crowd stopped in confusion by the unresponsiveness of the teams. The grass withered beneath his feet, tracing his footsteps towards the goal until the vicinity around him was as eerie and haunting as ever. They stopped the game to ensure the health of the teams, but they remained noncognitive for quite some time until their consciousness was unclouded again. As Gus continued his days, he was never truly seen the same by anybody. Depending on how he looked at a person and the severity of his gaze, it could send them plundering with a strange fear. Occurrences continued and became more frequent, but as the son of Hades, he wasn’t presented with beautiful gifts, nor strong feats that could amaze crowds, instead it was hearing the voices of the damned and granting death around him. They speculated schizophrenia and many other psychological problems, but his mother soon gave Gus the truth. For awhile, Gus tried to control his own powers the best he could, but it was no use since he had no instructor or sense of how it all worked. Instead, his mother was able to find the whereabouts of Olympus Academy. And so Gus was sent there, still in denial about his heritage and the truth behind himself. He has much to learn, and a lot to face, considering the realm of gods and goddesses, and his new school to help him. Although he’s still in denial of the existence of the gods, he is spiteful that he was hidden from this truth for so long. Gus has always wanted more than what is given to him, but this particular scenario daunts him in a way that makes him want to turn and run. This isn’t the life he expected, but he is moving forward with a neutral stance.
[sub]Demigod Abilities[/sub]
Death - Like his father, Gus divulges in the realm of death and the many aspects of it. He is capable of withering life around him as well as instilling fear in others. Those that are weak of heart and mentally unstable will be more susceptible to this ability, and those that are stronger and more fortified in the mind will be able to combat this. Earth Manipulation - Hades is known to be the God of the Underworld, but his power also extends to the very fabrics of the earth and it’s metals. Like Hades, Gus is capable of manipulating the earth. Gus is capable of casting tremors through the terrain around him, though the limits to this power are unknown. Necromancy - Gus is capable of speaking to the dead, commanding the dead, and summoning the dead. Although his necromantic abilities haven’t truly unlocked for him yet, this is an ability he has yet to control voluntarily. Since Gus is a descendent of his father, he has a natural instinct to lead, but his absence from the underworld has made it so his commands are not followed wholeheartedly. Hellfire - Gus is capable of controlling the scorching flames of the Underworld. He’s capable of conjuring the hellfire at his will, though normal flames he will have no control over.
[sub]Pietro Boselli | C60000[/sub]
