Jay gave a small nod at Rex's words. "I'm sorry you had to go through that." He said solemnly before he moved to pour the hot water into the mugs for the drinks. "Feel free to let Skuggi roam, by the way." He added, "Wyf won't harm him, she's trained in tracking rather than hunting." He smiled. He moved over to the other side of the table and placed Rex's drink in front of him before he moved back to the side his cup sat on. He didn't sit down just yet, moving to the cupboard and pulling out a small box of cookies before placing it between the two of them. "My Grandad said my father was killed by Fae." Jay started, sitting down with a frown before he took a sip of his drink. "He mentioned something about my magic being the cause of the Fae coming to my parents in the first place." He shrugged before he sighed. "So." He said as he chirped up, "What exactly did you want to ask about?" He tilted his head with a small smile.
