[indent]Chris is a young woman with an olive complexion, brown eyes, oval face, and straight dark brown hair. Chris's long hair is often pulled back into a half braid, half ponytail. She is 5'5" and she has an athletic physique. Chris tend to stick to skinny jeans that are black, grey, charcoal, dark colors. She has a large collection of nerdy shirts, and comfy plaids shirts that are mostly dark colors. Chris usually wear a pair of giant over-ear headphones around her neck, that she puts on to listen to music, when she is working on her projects or just to block out the world. Chris is also usually seen with a messenger bag (gotta have something big to carry all of those tools of hers and completed mini projects, she might need to try out on) and rocking a pair of comfy, yet combat boots. She always seems to have work googles perched on her head, that she moves to cover her eyes. When she is hard at work.[/indent]

[indent]Chris may or may not speak fluent sarcasm at first, depending what her first impression is of you. She's not really judging, but she does think that first impressions are permanent impressions. Even with that as a belief, Chris doesn't really give a damn what people think about her. If they like her, then great. If not, then, well, that's great, too. It's not like it'll make a big impact on her life, unless you're a god, or something, in which case she... probably still won't care.
Chris has intelligence which plays a big part in her work. She invents things, or at least tries to. She's always sitting down in her spare time with a note book figuring things out and what she'd need and everything really. She quite creative too. She has a creative mind and she knows how to use it most days into her work, but she also use it to have fun. Many people don't know, But a lot of the pranks that happen at school are caused by her inventions. She doesn't want pranks going wrong people's feelings getting hurt, usually her pranks are fun and entertaining. She is reliable like that. Always thinking the plan or situations through before enacting her plan. She isn't just smart when it comes to creating things. She also very smart in some subjects of life like a working out problems and her classes at school. She has a fun-loving personality, but it depends on who is around. When Chris is around her family, or close friends she is random, she has her moments of random funny dancing, or just the odd joke out there.

[indent]Amanda Kalili fell in lust with the infamous Greek God one fateful night. The story of how Chris is born is another one-night-stand-in-a-club story, with a drunk Hephaestus and Amanda Kalili, and nothing about it is important, except for the fact that the God of Forging's Daughter, Christina Jo Makana Kalili was born. While she did grow up in Hawaii. Where she met Hephaestus, Amanda didn't live in Hawaii. She was only visiting her family at the time of Chris’s conceiving. Thus, Chris was born in Los Angeles, back where Amanda lived. While the stranger had been able to give Amanda the daughter her husband couldn't give her at the time, it almost cost her marriage. It took loads of pleading for him - Luke - to take her back. Inclusively, when Chris was born, Luke didn't want to have anything to do with her, insisting that she take Amanda's name, for she wasn't his. Seeing no other option, Amanda obliged, and named her Christina Kalili . While she would have preferred for her daughter to take her husband's name, at least she was honoring her family.

Growing up, Chris's life was as normal as anyone else's, except she had a knack for creating and fixing things. If the TV remote control wouldn't work, Chris would set out to fix it, and would complete it surprisingly quickly. It was the same when it came to building things. If anyone gave her the smallest of things to play with, she'd build stuff with it, and boy was she good at it. It was what encouraged her mum to sign her up in robotics This is where her skill set began to grow and develop, and her liking towards engineering cemented.

While it was never in her plans, at the age of eleven, Chris undertook a small job as a mechanic in Luke's automobile repair shop. She started small, getting him bottles of water or whatever tool he'd need, so long as he gave her a steady allowance. He still wasn't fond of her, and Chris wasn't oblivious to the reason why, hence why she doubted he ever would grow fond of her. But truthfully, she didn't care. She had a loving mother, and that was just about enough for her. But back to the story, her simple jobs grew into helping her step-father with repairs, when he realized she also knew about cars. She wasn't of that much help, but they bonded slightly over cars. This went on and on in her "normal" life, until she was fourteen.

One day, her mother told Chris something that changed her life. Amanda had met Chris's birth father again, and that he wanted to meet her. Amanda told Chris, That before she met her birth father, She had to know that her father was a god, not God but a Greek god named Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths and a bunch of other stuff in that category which maybe why she was able to know exactly what every type of machine was. Chris asked her why she was telling her this now, Amanda told her. That it was time, She was so much like her father already. She even noticed her using the same abilities that Hephaestus had told her she would gain. Amanda told her about a school Hephaestus had made arrangements for her to attend Olympus Academy next school year. They were surprised that they wouldn't be paying for her to go to school. They had told her if she didn't want to go she didn't need to; But she had already decided to attend Olympus Academy, when the next school year started. Maybe, She might learn something about her father while she is there.

Life at the Academy:
So far it has been great, at first she had a rough start. She had felt agitated and out of place, She was having trouble keeping calm. Part of her was mad, at Hephaestus, at her mom, Mad, that she couldn't control her temper. Before she left, her Amanda and Luke's house things, unexpectedly would set on fire. When she got upset. Her first few weeks, she ended up burning thing on accident. Till one day, she was pulled aside by one of the teachers. They had in a classroom by herself, till a man entered. She felt like he was familiar to her but, she didn't know why. When he smiled at her, She felt a surge of warmth. When he had told her, That he was Hephaestus. That he was her father. All the anger she had felt before, came rushing back. The tables around her started to burst into flames, before he waved his hand and the fires disappeared leaving charred desktop behind. He told her that, she was like her mother pressing down her anger till comes out all at once. He apologized to her, saying he thought it would be best if he didn't barge into her and Amanda's life. But, he was wrong. He wanted to get to know her and help her gain control of her pyrokinesis. She cautious at first, when she meet with him for lessons. But, eventually she moved past her anger and always looked forward her next lesson. By, The time her first year had ended. She had better control of her powers and pretty good relationship with Hephaestus. 
Chris was pretty much back to her old self before, she calling Amanda and Luke more. instead of ignoring them like she had done the first few weeks of being at OA. She had also friends, who she knew she would do anything for. Sure, now that she is a fifth year. She doesn't have the same friends as before, But was still friends with the ones who really mattered to her and had made new friendships as well. Now she just what this school year would be like.

[indent]When Chris and Hephaestus first met, it began with Chris telling him off for never being apart of her life. Hephaestus laughs at this, saying She reminded him of her mother, whom he misses quite a bit. Hephaestus later reveals that he has been watched her grow, and that he is very proud of her. He also admitted that he is not very good with people, which is why he doesn't meet with his children often. Since then, She has had a friendly relationship with her father. always ready to ask him advice, or just to sit and tinker with some equipment that he sends her way. Sometimes, They will even meet and work on cars and motorcycles.[/indent]

[List]{*]Technokinesis: Chris has amazing mechanical abilities; she can manipulate a alarm clock to say "Chris for the win" in a low voice like Darth Vader's and build a working helicopter out of pipe cleaners. She was able to fix the old watch for her grandfather in one night, even though he thought it would never work again.
[*]Machine Aptitude: Chris can understand and sense machinery and has the ability to expertly operate machines she has had no prior experience with.
[*]Machine Expertise: Because Chris is a demigod child of Hephaestus, she can instinctively fly or drive any mechanical vehicle expertly, including cars, trains, or helicopters. 
[*]Machine Sensitivity: She can sense faults in metal ore and identify machinery type and use by touch. It can be distracting to her, because she will suddenly have needs to fix whatever the problem is.
[*]Trap Detection: Chris can also sense traps, in particular mechanical traps, shown when she seems to be able avoid the prank traps her cousins set up to prank her with.
[*]Pyrokinesis: Chris discovers the ability to generate and control fire, when she accidentally sets the garage on fire. It took a few years for her to learn to control it now at low-level ability  she would probably be moving a candle back and forth; if better, maybe putting out the flame with her mind or making it relight. Pyrokinesis is one of the more practiced skills like telekinesis. It is too, for warming people up or setting objects aflame. Her pyrokinesis is supposedly a gift, hasn't quite made up her mind yet about if it's true or not. Her pyrokinetic abilities can go as far as to shoot white hot flames high in the air that could burn through a metal chain link. However, she does have trouble controlling her pyrokinesis when she gets Angry or irritable, Usually when she get like that things start burning up. She can throw fireballs/fire bolts, fire blasts and (if she concentrates hard enough), Tall walls of fire.
[*]Superheated Fire: Chris can increase the heat of her fire (to the point that it becomes white-hot), and can also create walls of flame. This is the main defensive use of her powers.
Supernova: She can increase the heat of her fire to such an extent that she basically becomes like a supernova. But the side-effects effects of using her power in such a way is quite fatal to her (enough to char her otherwise fireproof body), despite her immunity to flames.
[*]Fire Immunity: Chris discovers she is fireproof, When she visited her family in hawaii. She went to a active volcano to test how strong her immunity was. She could sit in a in a pool of lava and be completely comfortable. However, Chris's supernova fire explosion was fatal even to Chris, enough to char her body. She also found, when she is angry. Her immunity seems to disappear and has burned herself during the times they were gone.
Heat Sensitivity: She can sense heat, flames, and metals, even allow her to walk through the forest at night in the form of thermal vision.
