Contentious Topics & Arbitration
- Agility and Speed: It's a well known fact that the relationship between Agility and Speed is badly explained in canon. While there appears to exist a link between Agility, Servant Class, and Speed, is not clear to what extent one influences the other. To make this frequent topic up to light in this RP already, I'll establish a way to calculate who's faster and who isn't. Except for obvious exceptions that have Skills, NPs, or feats that place then on a different speed class, here's how to determine who would win in a contest of speed: Speed = Base Class multiplier X Agility bonus. Base Speeds Saber 1.0 Archer 0.9 Lancer 1.5 Shielder 1.0 Rider 1.0 Caster 0.5 Assassin 1.2 Berserker 0.9 Example: A Saber with AGI A would have (1X50) = 50 SPD, while a Lancer with AGI B would have (1.5X40) = 60 SPD, making the Lancer faster in terms of pure movement speed. In combat, the Saber would still perform better than the Lancer when it comes to Attack Speed, Reflexes, etc., Since they would have greater AGI.
