Walking on past the group, in the middle of a conversation, was none other than the legendary Howard Stark and Peggy Carter. Although it would be hard to overhear their conversation amidst all of the chatter, they would be able to catch the gist: Peggy was giving Howard some advice on how to handle his handful of a kid. Tony was beginning his teenage phase and the scientific genius had no idea how to deal with it. They would vanish into the crowd again within a few moments, not even noticing the group of time travelers themselves but why would they? "Cat got your tongue?" Strange mused, noticing that Roman had hardly said a word since they arrived. It wasn't too shocking, they had just lost people, but loss was hardly a new thing for them anymore. Funerals and coffins, they were just a reality of life. People died. But maybe, just maybe they could change that fact - just this once - they could bring them back. Raynor chuckled a bit. "Well that isn't a cat," he corrected Flynn. Cryptic as ever, he didn't offer an explanation beyond that. Cats couldn't live to be forty years old? Well, then Goose wasn't a cat - and given Goose's other qualities he was a bit surprised that Flynn hadn't figured that out yet. Household pets didn't just have tentacles inside of them like that. At least, they didn't here on Midgard as far as the Asgardian was concerned. The kitten gave Niah's hand a cautionary sniff, before apparently determining that she was a nice person and he started to rub up against her hand, essentially demanding that she pet him. On the phone, there was a poignant pause before Dr. Pym started to answer. His voice was more youthful than when she had spoken to him at Pym Technologies back in 2020. "Goddamnit. I told Stark not to bring in an outside consultant..." Pym muttered. "Alright. I can meet you now in my lab - it's room 221B." "Goose! We talked about this!" Nick Fury complained, looking like a young(?) man with both of his eyes. He came up to them at a sprint and shook his head slightly at the kitten. "Sorry, little guy must have slipped out of my office..." he apologized, bending down and picking up the kitten. "Mrow?" Goose asked innocently, looking at Fury for a moment, before he started trying to get out of his grip again. Unfortunately for the kitten, Fury wasn't just about to let go of him any time soon. He didn't want to deal with losing Goose in this large crowd of people and he had no doubt someone else would want to adopt this precious little bag of joy. "Oh, no worries," Susan said in response, not really too sure what else to say at that moment. "I'm Agent Fury," he introduced, holding out a hand with a smile. Her vision was spinning as she blasted away as much as she could at the endless tidal wave of drones. She wasn't exactly surprised at the hoard she and the Hulk were fighting - they had just kicked the beehive, of course the flying killing machines would be coming to end the threat to the collective. "Hey, Big Green... What do you think's waiting on the other side?" she asked him, her voice raspy and sounding like that of a chain smoker. "Big Guy?!" Captain Marvel called out again, having not heard a response. A second later, one of the drones stabbed her in the back and she screamed, blue blood dripping from the wound. But it would take more than just that to kill Carol Danvers. Her limbs were trembling as she forcibly pulled out the blade and then punched a hole through the drone, sending its pieces down onto the ground where it joined its previously vanquished brethren. "NO OTHER SIDE! ONLY HULK!" There was a gigantic roar as the Hulk emerged, covered in broken pieces of drones. The female Avenger let out a slight sigh of relief. She didn't know if anything could kill the Hulk, but it seemed to be impossible. And as long as Ultron couldn't do that, then they would always at least have a chance of winning. "Sun's getting real low, huh?" Her eyes flickered all around them and she knew that she at least couldn't keep this up forever. She was getting tired. It wouldn't be long until she was overwhelmed, but there was at least something she could to do buy them all some time... "I'll see you in a minute," Carol said, before she went supernova. The Second Floor... There was an intense, blinding light and suddenly, the glass outer walls of Stark Tower shattered, the shards flung inwards. Not too long afterwards, there was a gigantic roar of pain - the Hulk. Whatever had happened outside, at least Bruce Banner's alter ego had survived. Goose sent his tentacles flying out, smashing 5 drones nearby. However, he let out a slight hiss, before it sounded like he was almost whimpering in way. He had gotten hit by several shards of glass, and his injuries didn't look too good from the glass at all. "Mrow?" he sort of muttered out, not really saying anything else. "...Your cat needs medical attention," Wanda informed Cass, staring at her. The drones on this floor were gone, but it wouldn't be long before more came, especially with the glass shattered. Vision had gotten hit by a fair number of shards, the synthezoid sparking randomly as he flew up to the fourth floor to assist Tinley if she so required. The Fourth Floor... Just as on the second floor, the intense light - like a star had just exploded outside - would be blinding to look at. If anyone tried to, their vision would be clouded with black spots for at least an hour or more. Of course, that is hardly the least of Tinley's problems. The shards from the glass walls were violently thrown at her, but by some stroke of luck they missed her almost entirely, just leaving her with a few scratches. Unfortunately, the drones avoided the shards as well, so she still has to deal with them. The Vision floated up to her a moment later. "Might I be of assistance?" he asked. There were numerous glass shards sticking out all over his body, as if he had used himself to shield someone from harm - but who? Of the four drones on the floor, only one of them managed to actually fire off a shot at Tinley, but it missed her by a lot. The Eleventh Floor... While Maria managed to channel her inner Hawkeye and make it up to the eleventh floor, she is surrounded by Ultron drones and the aftermath of the supernova outside not only just flung glass at her, it actually knocked Maria backwards. She would fall away from the landing at the very least, but one of her own arrows is knocked loose from her quiver and she lands on it, the arrow pushing through her back and coming out at her stomach. Of the twelve drones up there with her, five of them managed to hit Maria. Her regenerative healing factor made her tougher than most, but these drones could adapt and they did so easily. Sending concentrated lasers at her brain, the five drones attacked as a singular unit and destroyed the vital organ beyond repair. She was dead.
