James was disappearing when he left, so he could only assume he hadn't made it. An upsetting fact for sure, but he honestly didn't know what he could do about that. Perhaps if they hadn't gone to Cairo to search for their enemy, they wouldn't be victims of the collapse of things in Cairo, but there was no way for him to know that for sure. Turning back to the Watch, he quietly said, "[color=97e23b]Physically yes, I think so.[/color]" He gave a look over himself, as if to check to confirm that a part of himself hadn't somehow gone missing. If there was one thing to be thankful for, this place was much calmer than the disintegrating Cairo. That was probably one of the reasons he was able to hold himself together at this very moment. The other being him holding onto the hope that Faith had made it through alive, wherever she might be. He didn't think he could take the loss of the closest friend he had, on top of everything else happening to them all. He still had no earthly idea where they were now though, looking between the two trees. This place was odd, wherever it was, and he didn't suppose much would be accomplished by sticking around.
