[i][b]The Legion of Superheroes is a group of diverse aliens around the year 3000 in the DC Comics universe. Equal parts X-Men and Justice League, the group over the decades has gone through many incarnations and reboots. Rather than play on an existing universe [cause the series is currently in the process of being relaunched by Brian Michael Bendis] what I hope to get a handful of players behind is the idea of reinterpreting it ourselves and potentially have two characters per player to make the roster more fleshed out. For example players could take one cannon Legion character and reinterpret them. Gender flip them, change their race or planet origin, you can keep or change as much as you want. Then for a secondary character you could recreate another Legion cannon character or create an original. If you’re a Legion fan already you likely have a few favorites, as the roster is quite literally the equivalent of the X-Men in the DCU. As far as the story and gameplay goes, we’d select three characters to act as the founders. With a group of at least 5-6 players we’d have between 6-12 characters in play [as some of you may not want a secondary character]. The RP would pick up some time after the team is formed and we will go into the game defending the United Planets based out of Superman’s former city Metropolis on Earth. This RP could be the standard Casual Level RP or it could even be [i][b][url= https://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/155411-the-legion-of-superheroes-return/ooc]stat based like my last Legion RP[/url][/b][/i]. I’ve got several ideas where to take a game like this in either outcome, so it makes no difference to this guy. I just need an RP right now with the additional free time on my hands. This could go as big as 10 players with a cast of characters between 10-20 heroes. 

If there’s at least a few players interested I’ll post up some CS requirements. If there’s enough for a stat based game [it’s like D&D dumbed down and w/o dice] I’ll post stat requirements as well. 

Also gonna go ahead and call dibs on Sun Boy and Triplicate Girl/Duplicate Girl!

[h3]Remember the Legion will have their flight rings/translators. Just try and recreate a character in the Legion cannon first before making complete originals for secondaries. With five of us so far we could start out with ten Legionaries.[/h3]
