She is of slim body shape resembling a teenage girl. She has red hair that turns lighter near the ends and purple almost blue colored eyes. Her hair reaches her upper back. She usually doesn’t do anything special with her hair outside of putting in a ponytail. Her wings are swallowtail shaped, mostly transparent with sparkled blue veins. She normally dresses in a leotard like outfit with a low cut back for her wings and a short flared skirt. She is usually barefoot, but will wear flats on occasion. Bio: Emiimmi once lived in a large colony of other fairies deep in a vibrant forest filled with ancient and young trees alike. This forest originated and continued to branch outside from where the wood plane was created. The colony of fairies lived in one of the larger ancient trees, one that grew immensely over many of the others. By no means was it the largest, but it was large enough to carve homes into it and for it to still thrive. It was known as Everbole. The fairies there tended to the plants and animals, cultivating new sprouts so they could compete against the larger established woodland, and keeping the grounds clean. They also tended to the dead so that nature would be given back which it gave. Those who did not fly the forest made homes of Everbole, or taught young fairies and told stories of the world. The colony’s claim to fame came mostly from their medicine. From salves that could repair damaged plant life to serums that cured infectious diseases within the wildlife, many of the fairies of Everbole would even make Emiimmi was a wandering spirit. She would have rather play than to assist or learn. Yet despite her aversion she was curious, especially towards the world outside of the forest. She played her part when it came to gathering or treating the injured, but most of the time she would be seen darting around different parts of the forest along with one of their hummingbirds, used to help keep an eye out for any distress. The hummingbird had taken a strong liking towards Emiimmi and she had done the same to it. They would have plenty of fun racing each other and drinking nectar. She fondly refers to it as Mimi. During one of these play sessions, they were racing through the trees when suddenly Mimi suddenly stopped and darted towards the upper canopy. Emiimmi took notice and chased it up there. Once she got through the initial branches she was met face to face with an elf. She had no idea he was there at all. Startled by the sudden appearance of a face larger than her body, she momentarily forgot how to fly and fell. The elf caught her, apologizing and inquiring her condition. Regaining composure, Emiimmi demanded to know what was he doing there. He explained to her that he was chasing a cause for a blight that had infected part of the forest. She had been aware of the blight being told it was isolated to a clearing. The elf explained that it was not. Still resting in his hand, he climbed a bit farther up over the trees and pointed west. From up here she could see Mimi hovering in place looking directly towards the direction of the clearing. Several of the trees that surrounded it had blackened as though they had been burned, their leaves shriveled, scattering in the wind. The elf further explained that he was not sure exactly what was causing it, but had several theories of its origin. If all went well, his theories would be correct and he could stop it. He carefully placed Emiimmi on the branch next to him and he departed. Taking flight once again, Emiimmi watched the elf quickly dart from tree to tree towards the blight. Several weeks after her encounter, the blight had been cured and the surrounding area restored. For the moment, things seemed peaceful, but soon that blight reoccurred. Emiimi learned through the grapevine that the elf had come from central Alveos, the heart of the world in which the forest grew towards. She wondered if it would be possible for that elf to come back to cure the blight once again. She was told that the elf was an adventurer. He had come on his own merits to help in the time of need, no one sent him. She was also told not to worry, that elf was not the only one. Others like him have learned, grown and adapted to lend aid to life of all kinds. The world is much larger than just the forest. A time would come where if needed another would come to lend aid. This information had changed her perspective. She had only known her life in the forest, and had not given a thought about what lay outside of it. Thoughts of her encounter with the elf, the blight, and the wonder of what exactly is out there and what she can do flooded her mind. She started to take the lessons she was taught to heart. She would listen intently to the stories the elders had about encounters with humans cutting timber, sylphs flying adventures, and the elves helping to keep every living being at peace. Finally she thought it was time for her to see it for herself. Several times since then adventurers had gone through the forest for one reason or another and Emiimmi felt it was time to join them. She had never really heard of a fairy leaving the forest to attend the academy, but she was sure many have before her. Adventuring was not something one would advertise, as least so thought Emiimmi. For once she had an interest over playing around. Personality: She is very playful to a point where she can come off as a little annoying. She does not have a strong sense of personal space. One of the more annoying things she does is making off with small items that belong to others either to be playful or out of curiosity. She is easily amused. She is a little on the naïve side trusting everyone she meets instantly until they prove to be untrustworthy after the fact, and even then is quick to forgive.
Hopefully this is acceptable. Question: How far has technology developed? I'm not expecting advanced computers or even cars, but how about electricity, plumbing, and infrastructure?
