When the foreign girl shook her hand profusely and with such energy, Guard Lady couldn't help but smile. The addition of thanks made her cheeks flare red for a short while, before returning to normal after the furious handshaking was done. The other girl then proceeded to invite her to join them for a quest - killing sewer rats. Albeit, she stopped midway through the invitation and proposed that the halberd-wielding woman was preoccupied, which wasn't the case at all. With a gentle expression on her face, Guard Lady couldn't help but feel that this girl was a bit childish, but very cute in her haphazard way. However, before she could respond, the hooded boy spoke up. He was being very wary of the man from before, and began to half-whsisper, half-spout nonsense. Cash in on us? Follow them into the sewers? What ridiculous claims! Everybody here at the hall had heard and seen the scene unfold, plus, why would a steel-rank even bother with quests and rewards for porcelain-ranks? He could make so much more money simply by going on a quest befittting his own standing and make a considerably larger profit. Not to mention, while the Bruiser did look shady, his two lady-friends were busying themselves with chatting to him and seemingly pampering or spoiling him. "I don't think you need to worry about him." She said calmly, removing her eyes from the table-sitting brute and turning them to the hooded youth instead. "He was likely just looking for some pack-mules to carry his luggage and stroke his ego. I doubt he has the brass to actually try anything sinister like those ideas in your head." Her expression wasn't smiling anymore, but a mix of serious and dismissal. The girl honestly didn't believe anyone would stoop to outright murder or assault, simply for being told off. "Regardless, if you'd have me, I'd love to come with you. I don't know anyone in this town, since I just arrived." She continued, now smiling in her friendly manner once again. "I've never gone on actual, guild-approved quest before, but I do know a thing or two about using this." She tapped the butt-end of the halberd into the floor-board "Just lead the way! .. Oh, wait. Don't we need to inform the receptionist about which quest we're taking before we go?" She askedd, looking a bit unsure.
