❂Character's Characteristics:
Cidro is, in no uncertain terms, an idiot. He can be observed wandering into serious, generally dangerous situations with little more than his usual stupid grin to protect himself with, and is just as often observed getting out of it thanks to either dumb luck or some [i]serious[/i] divine intervention. At least, that's what [i]most[/i] people think. There are a few poor souls out there who think he might secretly be some kind of super genius, who purposefully manipulates everyone into thinking he's a moron and underestimating him to give him the advantage. However, the few people who actually bring up this possibility are almost invariably laughed out of the room.

Along with his stupidity, he is also rather lazy, spending most of his time sleeping, whether in his room or in the middle of classes. If he [i]must[/i] remain awake, it is almost a sure bet that he'll be using his abilities to float around rather than walk.

However, despite those two glaring indicators that Cidro is a fairly pathetic excuse for a student, and probably a human being at that, it has to be noted that Cidro has somehow found himself with a silver tongue, and is quite good at manipulating a conversation to get his way, usually through shameless flattery and friendly banter. This goes along with the fact that he actually [i]is[/i] a genuinely nice person, always willing to talk to others and listen to their problems while awake. Sometimes he even helps them out, if he feels up to it.

❂Main Powers:
Cid, while still not particularly good at making controlling other objects with his gravity powers, is extremely talented at making [i]himself[/i] float. He can fly quite fast, although he usually prefers to float around at a leisurely pace. He is also able to temporarily force a small area around him to push gravity outwards with extreme force, creating a powerful makeshift barrier.

❂Backstory:
Cid's backstory is fairly normal compared to most powered folk. He grew up in a tiny apartment on the city planet of Kars with his parents, who found his seeming lack of both motivation [i]and[/i] intelligence concerning. However, this all changed when his powers began to develop. For him, it was an opportunity to get even [i]more[/i] rest in, while still getting whatever he needed to do in the day over with. For [i]them[/i] however, it was a miracle, an opportunity for him to somehow make it through life despite how he acted. 

By the time he was old enough to join, he'd made some decent progress working his powers out on his own, and with a little prompting from his parents, decided that he could use this power to find a job. What they [i]hadn't[/i] expected was for him to decide to enroll himself in Rosewood, thinking that it'd give him plenty of time to rest between scavenging missions and take away any potential stress of having to search for a job later on. Then eventually, he'd be able to work towards a nice, peaceful desk job in the military somewhere, letting him live an easy life.
