Female. ; ;[/sub]
“ ─ O, why should nature build so foul a den, unless the gods delight in tragedies?”
─ Titus Andronicus, Act IV Hello. I am Hadrian. Welcome to my request thread. I'll spare you the self-summary and move on to what I'm looking for:
♦ PM roleplays. I prefer to stay away from IM platforms. ♦ Flexible writers. Don't force quantity where it isn't needed! ♦ Folk who understand OOC boundaries.
In turn, I offer:
♦ Reliable OOC communication. ♦ Stress-free writing. I'm quite active myself, but I will not expect you to adhere to my own schedule. ♦ Comprehensive story-building. I adore a well-thickened plot.
I have no gender preference and enjoy playing male and female characters equally, and am quite partial to playing multiple characters per story if need be. Do note, however, that I have a penchant for playing as (and against) male characters of the detestable sort. As such, my writing typically veers into dark territories, and I have very few limits as to what sins and debauchery I will and won't write. I prefer MxF pairings as a general rule where romance is concerned, but it's not a deal breaker. Adult scenes are fine and somewhat expected, but will not commandeer the RP. Moving on. ♱ Genres & fandoms ; ; My favorite genres, in no particular order:
♦ Historical // WWII, Medieval, Renaissance, Celtic, Roman ♦ Dark Fantasy ♦ Sci-Fi ♦ Apocalyptic/Post-Anarchy ♦ Modern Supernatural
& fandoms, aka borrowed lore, ocs only:
♦ Middle Earth ♦ Fallout // 3, New Vegas, 4 ♦ The Elder Scrolls // Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim ♦ Red Dead Redemption ♦ Marvel/DC ♦ Goblin Slayer ♦ Devilman Crybaby
♱ Plots ; ;
Historical, Old Western Following an awry train robbery, a band of outlaws finally sets up camp after a prolonged period of pursuit by the law. A young woman, notable for her quick feet and exceptional thievery, is still healing after spending a number of hours captured and held in custody by the hired guns who escorted the carriages. Though she was ultimately rescued by the rest of the gang, she refuses to mention what happened to her, and has been visibly jumpy ever since. Though shaken, she resents the pity placed upon her, and yearns to prove her worth again. Fearing for the girl's stability and loyalty when placed under pressure, their leader declines any jobs she suggests and insists she remains within camp. Though she is remarkably flighty, she is unable to execute a larger-scale burglary on her own, and the desperate and undeterred girl eventually turns to the dubious and most rotten outlaw they have.

Medieval Fantasy, Werebeasts (?) She was born of the moon -- an aspect of beast blood. Her family revere physical prowess, and value strength above all else. But she is weak, frail, imperfect; a runt living in the shadow of her elder brothers. Though noble-born, she is long cast aside, shamed by her forebears and targeted by her brethren. Having given up on her beast form, she instead hopes to prove herself worthy of her name by some other means. She flees her home in search of a figure she has only ever heard tales of; a lone swordsman, a remnant of a war long passed. She offers them trinkets and coins stolen from her father's archives in exchange for training, and claims that she will not return until she is strong enough to challenge their leader -- a feat she is immediately mocked for. Her pleading is eventually accepted, but her new master is exceptionally cruel. Their lessons push through the seasons with slow progress, and secrets from both sides begin to emerge into the light.

Modern, Superheroes. She was a troubled girl, taken in and raised to be the ward of the city's hero -- a sidekick, by any stretch of the definition. She only had eyes for him, though she was bitter and stubborn and never acted upon it. But now he was dead, his light extinguished by the one he dubbed his archenemy. & the villain does not kill her, but rather takes her to be his own squire; an object of torment he drags along as he levels everything she's ever known. The slow twisting of beloved sidekick to disturbed supervillain; a tale of manipulation and brainwashing beyond doubt. The ultimate revenge against his dead rival.

Medieval Fantasy, Vampires, Multiple Characters (?) She is the last of her line; an ancient family of vampires, massacred years ago by their enemies. Their blood contained phenomenal power, and so they left the youngest alive, keeping her healthy until they can find a suitable consort for her to pass her power onto. Though ultimately a prisoner, she is content to fulfill the duty that has been given to her, and despite the enormity of her power she has yet to raise a hand against any of her keepers. Though physically weak and often sick, she bears immense psychological prowess. Through her pairing with some flavor of warrior, it is hoped that she will mother the foundations of a new line of unstoppable beings.

Medieval, Fantasy (?) A mercenary/soldier is charged with the duty of locating and escorting a suspected assassin back to the accusing Kingdom for trial and execution. He discovers her in the custody of a band of bounty hunters, who are promptly dispatched. The woman - initially believing herself to be freed - attempts to play the act of damsel. Though ultimately understanding of her fate, she still quietly suggests her innocence and subtly tries to worm her way out of her conundrum. Trouble on the road leads to her offering her skills in combat in exchange for her shackles being released. There is plenty of room here for political intrigue and corruption, and the debate of innocence.
