Ivory gave him props for not having even flinched as the knife had whipped past him. He seemingly didn't scare easy, that was for sure. It seemed that choosing to show Geralt an example of what they could do had been a good one. The man had an incredible poker face, he had to admit, but for a second he had noticed that twitch of his lips. His interest had been piqued, which had been his goal. Lucien said nothing as Geralt stood, letting him contemplate. He used that chance to finish the last of his wine. He had been trying to savor it as long as he could. "There is." He responded simply, before raising an eyebrow. "I'm a little surprised to hear that from a man who clearly holds such confidence. I did not take you to be one for modesty." He said a little amusingly before taking a glance about the room. "I admit I would not have expected you to live in a place like this, but I like to think someone's choice of accommodation does not reflect on their amount of skill. I would have been a little more concerned if I had walked into an unnecessarily large, flashy mansion. Convincing you to join a travelling circus might have been far more out of reach for us." He said before giving Ivory a small glance. "Each one of our performers has something they're good at. I value diversity, as does the public. While I wouldn't call you a simple stage magician, I think someone like you is exactly what we need to.. spice things up a little." He said with a smile.
