Her eyes, once described as a deep sapphire, have now dulled and lost their color. While still being clearly a shade of blue, some might argue there is a grayness to them. Her attire is a mixed-bag, though to fellow French, she appears as ready of a soldier as Soissons could create. The appearance of a rugged, matted brown uniform is present, with pieces of gear gathered from designs from centuries past. Maybe the War That Ended All Wars created a world where the people of France became fixated on what was instead of progressing beyond it, or maybe the resources to fabricate new uniforms isn’t quite there and the old ways is simpler. Among this uniform, Rébecca appears to have all the bits of things she needs to survive out in the field—whether that means irradiated mutants, immoral slavers, dissident warlords, or foreign agents. Due to this, her inventory includes satchel and an adjacent utility belt. At the end of the day, she was taught by her father to be prepared for any possible threat to come descending from the Rhineland. She would not forget such a lesson.
[sub]Personality[/sub]
Curious ⟶ Patient ⟶ Honorable ⟶ Proud ⟶ Smug
[sub]Biography[/sub]
Post-War France has not been a nice place to live. Paris is a ruin, set ablaze not long after its liberation from the Nazi’s in 1944. The lack of proper documentation of the destruction of Paris has caused confusion and rumor to spread among the French nationals. The cities of France that survived the chaos that consumed Rhineland, and eventually the world, would not be in the best state for carrying the torch forward. It is the world that Rébecca Depardieu was born into. Rébecca was born in 2018 in Soissons, then known as one of the more prominent members of the French Confederacy that had risen out of the ashes of the French Republic following the destruction of Paris in 1944. Her father, Jean-Jacques, was a commune sniper and prominent member of the counter-terrorist division of the military wing of Soissons known as the Knights Guetteur. Her mother, Mylène, was a pre-war historian. Rébecca’s first twelve years in Soissons wasn’t particularly dangerous or unique, or at least it wasn’t until her mother began to get very ill. So ill that her father had to be called from his post in Strasbourgo. As life would turn out, for her father to stay and keep watch over her it would require her mother to be taken from her; a mother that had taught her the wonder of French history and of her ancestors. Her mother died before her father could even arrive at the steps of the hospital in Soissons. Rébecca was sad, but her mother was now with god. In the weeks to come her father took a leave of absence from the military and began observing her education. When rebellion broke out against the ruler of Soissons, it was then that both of them realized how little she was prepared for the world that she had been born in. How life in the inner city of Soissons had spoiled her. Following that realization and the end of the revolt, Rébecca found herself traveling abroad with her father for a time. It was here that she learned of scavengers, slavers, raiders, and mutants. Of the dangers beyond the Rhine—beyond France. It was here that her father taught her how to shoot. How to hunt. How to survive. Training that would only be later improved when she joined the Soissons militia in 2035. It has been nine years since she left her father and joined the military to follow in his shadow. She’s yet to make any real mark on the world or even her own commune, but she’s still young and there is conflict everywhere.

[sub][ ❇ ] M I S C E L L A N E O U S[/sub]

[sub]Gear[/sub]
Berthier Bolt-Action Rifle, [abbr=5 rounds per Magazine, 8mm]Ammo Magazine (5)[/abbr] SACM Modèle 1935 Pistol, [abbr=7 rounds per Magazine, 7.65mm]Boxed Ammo (14)[/abbr] Survival Knife Smoke Grenade (1) Recon Kit, Satchel Medical Supplies, Pouch
[sub]Skills[/sub]
Bartering Guerrilla Tactics Marksmanship (Rifles) Old World Nostalgia Reconnaissance Training
[sub]Other[/sub]
Font Color is Goldenrod!
