Kijani was quiet on the way back to school. She stayed close to Connor as they walked through the campus, and gave him a gentle kiss when they reached her door. "Sorry I wasn't... as fun tonight. See you tomorrow, okay?" She smiled and slipped into her dorm. It would be a long night, tossing and turning, and fighting nightmares.
