Berlin, the year is 1945.  The second World War is drawing to a close in the European Theater.  Many cities lay in blackened and smoldering ruins, facades of the depravity and cruelty of mortal man and their machinations of absolute destruction and war are left in the visage of block after block of bombed out buildings, brick and shattered mortar that litter the grounds of cracked pavement and burning timbers, of discarded shells of brass and the blood soaked bodies of the dead, soldiers and civilians alike, rotting and festering amidst the rubble and amidst the chaos that continues to consume the once grand capitol of Deutschland.    It is here upon these unhallowed and damaged grounds the once mighty war machine that was Nazi Germany makes a final stand against Stalin's oppressive offense, as Soviet troops swarm into the capitol, ready to pierce the heart of a once powerful beast, not dying with a roar, but a pitiful whimper.

All while the battle rages on for the damnation or salvation of Berlin, a lowly German medic is cut off from their battalion.  On their own, they must traverse the ruins of the city and make it back to their mates alive, but....the eye of death has fallen upon them from high above.  They've been targeted by a lone Russian sniper.

THE ARENA

The desolate streets of wartorn Berlin.  Quiet as a graveyard, you could hear a mouse scampering nearly eight blocks away from where you stand.  The distant patter of small arms fire and the thud of artillery echoes faintly in the background, but still, all is silent...too silent.  With mounds of rubble and the skeletons of buildings left behind after several sporadic fights and bombing raids, there should be enough ample cover to avoid any small arms attacks, but the foundation is weak enough for a grenade to topple the walls.  The sniper will be perched up high at a vantage point in one of these buildings, while the soldier is on the low end on the ground.  Each combatant has limited supply of ammo, and once that's depleted, it could result into a bloody brawl for survival.
