[indent]Ito is a fairly lithe, scrawny male standing at just under 5ft 6Inches. He has black hair that is mid length, but never goes over his eyes. He never has a set style and regularly changes his hairstyle on a whim. Along with his dark hair he also dark, chocolate brown eyes. The same can be said about his attire too. He wears a large variety of clothes, all from different styles. He feels happy and content no matter what he is wearing, as long as he isn’t naked. [/indent]

[indent]Be careful when you talk to Ito, because you will never quite know which side he is on. He is always looking for amusement, usually at other people’s expense, but he normally isn’t malicious in his joking. Given his ‘neutral’ standing with people he tends to blend into any group of people, though is never really ‘friends’ with them. This causes Ito to become somewhat of a loner, moving from group to group to deliver messages. Given his talkative nature he is rather charismatic, but not so much charming. He has no issue with using whatever is at his disposal to get an advantage, even if it would inconvenience someone or endanger them. He is prone to fits of anger like most people, but when you cross onto his bad side, he will focus on doing everything he can to make your life a misery. [/indent]

[indent]LIke most Demi-gods, Ito grew up to a single parent. In this case it was his mother. Being born in Kyoto on the cusp of the millennium, Ito got to watch the advent of modern communication technology truly take over old fashioned methods. Which when your father was heralded as the messenger of the gods, seemed quite ironic. Still, Growing up Ito took a great interest in writing and politics, even joining the model UN at his school. It seemed that Ito was lined up for a job in the diplomatic arts. That was until he began to hang around with his father. His mother forbade Hermes to speak to Ito while he was young, but on the advent of his 13th birthday, everything was revealed to him.

Discovering that you are a demi-god suddenly makes negotiations obsolete. Why sit and talk, when you can pound your fists on the table and remind mortals that you are a demi-god and you want what you demanded. It seemed as if the power was going to go to Ito’s head. So Hermes intervened and took him away for a while to help Ito discover his sense of responsibility. Hermes showed Ito just how important messengers were, and the roles they had to play. He also opened Ito’s eyes to his other duties, like guiding people to the underworld, a task that was never to be taken lightly. There was also the ethics of his work that Ito needed to learn. There were many times where Hermes had tricked the gods to protect mortals. Sometimes it was for impish fun, but other times there were good reasons to.

While the talk helped centre Ito and stop him from becoming a brat, Ito was still struggling to get along with Mortals now. In an attempt to combat this and to help make him a model demi-god, Olympus Academy was deemed the only logical option. High School is afterall the ultimate political game. [/indent]

[indent]Ito has a rather cordial relationship with his father. They meet and talk often and Hermes is currently mentoring Ito into becoming a model messenger. Someone to take his place should the unthinkable happen. They aren’t as close as Ito would like however, and the relationship is more student-teacher than son and father.[/indent]

[color=#39ff14][sub][b]Demigod Abilities[/b][/sub][/color]
[indent][b]Teleportation[/b]- Ito has the ability to transfer his physical being to another location on the mortal plain. There are certain methods that can be employed to make an area impossible for him to teleport to, mostly magical wards.
[b]Lock Picking[/b]- Ito can defeat mechanical locks simply by touching them with his fingers. Digital locks, keypads and the like are harder, and require him to concentrate before defeating them. Cyber locks (i.e. Passwords and computers) can’t be affected by his power currently.
[b]Persuasion[/b]- When he needs to Ito can use his words to help persuade people to do what he wants. Mortals can hardly resist it. Gods are completely immune. Demi-gods is more hit and miss and depends heavily on the their willpower.
[b]Invention[/b]- Ito is gifted with the knack to be able to come up with a variety of gadgets and tools for any situation. It is important to note that he doesn’t just have them appear out of thin air, he has to go out and create them, though his godpowers most certainly do help speed up the process.[/indent]
