The platform rises to the top of the generator, where tubes and wires connect it to a peculiar looking machine; a large circular device with three gyroscopic axis. The machine radiates increasingly strong Force energy. "This is what the engineers built, the Tempest Eye. A machine that draws power from the Force itself and transfer it elsewhere. At the moment, it is powering this station, but it was originally designed to power much more."
Caalin Daemon
"You mean the Rakata people, right? You said they'd lost their connection to the Force. So... theoretically, could this machine be used to transfuse the Force into a being with little to no connection to it?"
The Caretaker
"Not theoretically. THIS was the constructs primary function. When fully operational, the Tempest Eye is able to draw the energy from worlds with a strong connection to the Living Force, for example Tython or Korriban. When an individual connects themselves to the device, it channels the collected power into their body, awakening the Force within them. But this is just one of many uses for the Tempest Eye.
Millu'ci'vanda
"Could the process can be reversed? FOr example, could an individual strong in the Force to channel their power into a dead world, and help life to reawaken and prosper once again?"
The Caretaker
"That is very possible, though seeding an entire would would require a great sacrifice of energy. It would most definitely kill anyone who attempted it." Motions to the Tempest Eye again. "The machine in it's current state is not fully functional, however. Without the Pupil, it can only draw energy, not direct it. And the Iris can only store so much energy before it risks overloading. Unfortunately, the Pupil and Iris were separated millennia ago by rebellious slaves."
