~Ability Information~
Evo Class/ Level: Class 5 Power/ Ability: Out of Phase, Layered Reality Brief Description: Christoph's dual powers, Layered Reality and Out of Phase, are both related to parallel worlds. Layered Reality connects him to every parallel version of himself, giving him many extraordinary abilities. On the flip side, Out of Phase periodically distorts his body, causing him to lose cohesion and pass through solid objects at random. Closer Look At Powers: Layered Reality The ability to connect to parallel versions of yourself. Layered reality takes the scattered consciousness of millions of copies of the user and connects them into one mind, spanning multiple bodies. While it can be disorienting, the power can be deactivated at will. Certain advantages of this power are the ability to work without sleeping, the ability to see into parallel worlds, and expanded mental processing abilities. Currently Christoph can only handle connecting with five other versions of himself. Occasionally he is also subject to painful feedback when his power activates unexpectedly. Out of Phase The ability to physically phase out of this reality and into another. When controlled, this ability gives nearly complete freedom of movement, however since Christoph has no control over his power, it activates randomly, causing him to pass through solid objects, or walk into objects that don't exist in this reality. This power cannot harm the user, even if phasing into solid matter.
~Personal Information~
Personality: Chris is a bit of an oddball, having spent his entire life pursuing his art. He's rather aloof, but he's well-intentioned, often upbeat, and chronically softhearted. He wants to make friends and spend time with other people, but a life of isolation has only reinforced his social awkwardness, and he has no idea how people meet new friends. Brief Biography: Christoph was born in Vancouver to Alex and Patricia Tanner. Alex was an English professor at the local college, and Patricia worked as a nurse, so their household was never poor. Chris learned a love for art at an early age, and his parents carefully nurtured that creative impulse. By the time he was 14, he was a known name in the art community. By 16, he had paintings hung in museums. When he was 18, both of his parents died while on vacation over seas, a vacation he had paid for them to go on together. Wracked with guilt and sorrow, he spent an entire year isolating himself from others, living off or the money he had saved and his inheritance. He didn't even get to bury them, as their bodies had been lost in a cave in. When he removed himself from isolation and began to work again, his paintings began to show a darker, more serious vibe. However, as he worked and immersed himself in the world of art once more, that darkness gave way to his original vibrant works. At 26, Christoph's art is known across the country, and even in some other parts of the world. He boasts pieces in prestigious galleries and often receives invitations to art galas, which he usually declines. His life was going well when the Incident happened. Now he has to live carefully, never sure when he will lose control of his powers. He leaves his house only in the dead of night when nobody will see him, and refuses to meet clients in person. His reputation has been slipping somewhat because of it, but the quality of his work still speaks for itself, and most people can put up with an eccentric artist.
~Other Information~
Other: Christoph is a rather famous artist, with many of his best works holding pride of place in prestigious museums.
