Appearance - Pic or description, I'll make micros if you guys want them for the stat cards… Brief Bio - Colu an had been pretty removed from the politics of the universe thanks to their high options of themselves. As far as the elders of Colu were concerned their predecessor, Brainiac, had given them enough information of the world outside their world. Brainiac 5 didn’t share these sentiments. Brainiac 5 grew up feeling the full force of the brutal conditions of life on Coulan. Where most people were beaten into the usual cold and uncaring member of their society, Brainiac 5 held onto a sense of empathy thanks to the stories he read of all the other planets that Brainiac came into contact with. This mentality put B5 at odds with nearly everyone he met. Colu was eventually approached by the fledgling founders of the Legion of Superheroes, asking if they would like a representative on the team. Almost immediately it was decided that Brainiac 5 would be sent away to do research of his own in the world that he yearned for so strongly. B5 was thrilled with the idea and packed his things, ready to get the first hand experiences with the species he only ever read about as a child. Notes - He enjoys using sayings but butchers the wording most of the time.
Colu is a techno-organic planet basically serving as a shared cybernetic body of the oldest of Colulans. Throughout their life Coulans steadily augment themselves in help them in their field of expertise until eventually they join up with the planet’s shared conciseness in order to begin their second stage of ‘life’. In this second stage they continue their work on a more theoretical scale while those with functioning bodies work on the more practical research. Not everyone sees this progression as ideal and you often get outcasts that live out their studies and choose to die naturally or, in a darker case, you get the Blight; a sect of ancient Coluans who have kept their physical bodies going long after their ‘death’ and continue their own research off planet. Coluans aren’t a very morally conscious race but the Blight are especially cruel. Most outright deny the existence of the Blight, leaving them as a sort of boogeymen of the universe.
