 Kuuto was born in a noble class and a demon slaying family, yet strangely the luxuries of such a life were scarcely known to him. For as long as he knew, he was taught to cultivate a calm mind, to which has become habit. Training hard each day, living with his master. He for most of his life has chosen his words carefully, so when he was finally allowed to roam freely, his strange sense of humor would occasionally rise to the surface. He joined the Demon Slayer corps at the age of 14, and has made very few friends, but among those he has made were demons, or at least before they became demons. People he has met throughout training have become demons, but among them one stood out, a young boy no older than he, like many others he too had aspirations, but during his demonhood he held some humanity, trying to starve himself in a cave, but eventually he would lose control over his urges and roam out of there. Kuuto's blade was hesitant up until this moment, killing him quickly, and peacefully. Was it better to kill him sooner while he could call himself a man? Or was sparing him like this the right call? The pure blade of the sky was now clouded in his judgement.

From henceforth, his blade sought greater heights, perhaps seeking an answer to his question. For the later of his teen years he honed his breath style. The potency of his techniques had grown greatly, each step he takes is in his quest to find the answer to his question. Were demons worthy of impartial judgement, or should they be slain mercilessly? Yet each encounter would not give him a solid answer. It was very easy to see all demons as evil, yet his eyes saw something else, yet he could not put his finger on it.

His search had led him to create a name for himself. The Eyes of Judgement. As he honed his skills in his quest, his eyes became able to take the measure of a person from a glance. Yet, as he obtained this skill, his question felt even further away from a conclusion. In this rise of power, a Pillar took notice of his skill, the current Storm Pillar, to be exact. It was far from right to reject his offer, he was unsure if this path would lead him to his answer... But upon learning that the Pillars will encounter powerful demons known as the Twelve Kizuki, his interest was piqued. Would these powerful demons show him the truth he sought?

And so he trains as the Tsuguko to the Storm Pillar. His skill was already far beyond what people would start taking in Tsuguko for, so there was little he needed to do to actually train, it was more learning of the world beyond that of a normal demon slayer. For the time being, he awaits his chance to encounter a Kizuki.

[u][b]B r e a t h   o f   t h e   S k y[/b][/u]

S t y l e   D e s c r i p t i o n : The Breath of the Sky is a derivative of the Breath of Thunder. The sky is boundless, unending, and inescapable. It changes with the weather, it can be clear and empty, or be a bulwark that cannot be perceived. While one can predict the weather by watching the sky, nothing can stop it. The Breath of the Sky unleashes powerful moves one after the other that are difficult to defend against. It's main drawback is that it's taxing, and as many are stanced, if the user is airborne then there are few options open to them. The Breath of the Sky requires two feet grounded to the earth, and a blade that shall reach the heavens themselves. Users of this style aim to end engagements very quickly, as they have the tools to do so.

❀ [u]First Form - Empty Sky Horizon[/u] 【虚空際】(Kokuusai) : This is an Iaijutsu form. The user does a single high speed slash so quick that it appears as if they did not draw their sword. A perfect slice can cut through a small hill or rock formation. A true master can control exactly what this move cuts. The most deadly aspect is this attack's range, where the final test is to cut the clouds in the sky.

❀ [u]Second Form - Daybreak Flash[/u] 【東雲一閃】(Shinonome Issen) : This is an Iaijutsu form. A quick draw slash that angles the glint of the sword to blind opponents momentarily before cutting them down. That aspect works only with Kuuto's sword.

❀ [u]Third Form - Nightfall Shroud[/u] 【薄暮陰】(Hakuboin) : The user will walk towards the target. If they are attacked, they will fade away, before appearing at a blink and slicing through the attacker. This move takes advantage of confusion to deliver it's blows.

❀ [u]Fourth Form - Cloudy Sky Sprint[/u] 【曇空疾走】(Donkuu Shissou) : This is a form that does not require a sword to execute, but having a sword lets the user attack. Cloudy Sky Sprint is a high speed sprint where the user appears to be disappearing briefly at seemingly random moments, allowing the user to hide their movements or attacks as they approach.

❀ [u]Fifth Form - Pure Sky that Slays Evil[/u] 【清浄空悪滅】(Seijoukuu Akumetsu) : A counter-attack from a drawn stance. Holding the sword in front to block an attack. As soon as an attack is blocked, it will be riposted and the attacker will immediately be struck down by several slashes in a single moment. This move is reserved for demons of abhorrent nature that deserve no more than the most brutal retaliation.

❀ [u]Sixth Form - Snow Wind Assault[/u] 【雪風強襲】(Yukikaze Kyoushuu) : From a sheathed stance, as soon as the user is attacked they will dash through the opponent, a single high-speed slash will be executed, taking advantage of any opening in the enemy's attack. 

❀ [u]Seventh Form - Judgement Cut[/u] 【判断切り】(Handangiri) : A sheathed attack that does a series of slashes upon one target from a long range. So fast it appears as if the user had not drawn their blade.

❀ [u]Eighth Form - Soft Breeze and Clear Sky[/u] 【軟風晴天】(Nanpuu Seiten) : The user will waltz past the target, and simply in a soft breeze that can be felt even indoors, the target will be slain. A merciful end for demons. There are only 7 base forms in the Sky Form, this one was created after he witnessed a Water Breath user execute their Fifth form.

N i c h i r i n   B l a d e

B l a d e   D e s c r i p t i o n : The blade appears a shining, brilliant white. So bright that once drawn, even in minimal light it will glint brilliantly. Once drawn it does not actually shine so much, and glows dully in the shadows. As described when it first formed it's colour, it was like it absorbs and stores light.

[list][*] Known for his sharp eyes that see through even the dark. He has currently honed it to the point of being able to perceive one's true nature, but not necessarily intentions. He can measure a person as good or bad, or somewhere in-between from a glance.
[*] Has excellent spatial awareness within his sword's reach as a result of training and understanding distance, as part of his breath style's training.
[*] His hearing is enhanced when his eyes are closed, but this is a conscious effort. Many of his draw techniques are done with his eyes closed. This is another result of training, when learning the counter-attack forms.
