Sylvia nodded in response to the shopkeeper's request to keep Buddy in good condition, and answered "O-Of course, I'll keep Buddy in good condition," She then read through the book at what his wares included. As she looked through, she forgot her fear for a moment and was instead in awe. She whispered a "Woah..." at the mention of the legendary weapons and armor here. She directed her attention back to the shopkeeper as he answered her question regarding the crocodile. She watched as he flipped the pages with a ray of energy. At the mention that she needed one hundred gold coins to purchase, her shoulders slumped a bit, and she muttered "Rats. I only brought 50 gold coins of my money with me," She thought about the items she had on her, and she felt that she needed her items, so a trade wasn't really on the table. She could sense Pylia's fear, and she answered the shopkeeper, "That is indeed helpful. However, I'm afraid I don't have 100 gold coins on me right now, and I feel that we will need all of our items for what's to come. But, we'll be sure to visit and do business again, when we have all of our money with us. Can't go around the bad part of town with a full purse after all," She then asked "Before we leave though, I have one more question, out of curiosity. Did any of your...previous customers seem like they belonged in a cult? I mean no offense, but we're trying to stop a war going on in the sewers and we believe that a cult may be involved..." It might be a long shot, but if there was a store here, then maybe some human cultists would have shopped here?
