	Janelle is a caring individual, and more often then not, she'll put someone else's needs above her own in order to help them in some form. Unfortunately, this also makes her a bit too trusting and gullible to what others say and do, despite her brother trying to break her of that constantly. To go along with her caring for everyone else, she also is kind hearted, and even if someone teases her or wrongs her, she'll do the best that she can to help them out should they ever need it. That's just the kind of person that she always has been.

	Though it has been known that she has a stubborn streak that is about a mile wide. She'll constantly put her foot down on an issue she feels strongly about (namely with her brother constantly treating her like she's made of glass) and will not budge on the issue. Janelle has a disability, that being that she is blind and can't see the world around her, but that doesn't stop her from taking the world by storm. She adapts to everything around her, and will constantly be figuring out better ways to interact with the world. However, since she can't really see everything around her, she can be more than a bit unpredictable, which also can be an upside since it means you need to expect the unexpected.

[b][color=85CAFF]Biography[/color][/b] 
	The first thing that Janelle truly remembered was the darkness. Everyone's voices, they were much louder than they probably should have been, but it was the darkness that was truly there. When she was 4 years old, Janelle truly started to understand what it meant to be blind. Even though they had tried to insist that she get a guide dog, she had been stubborn, even at a young age, to try to do things on her own. This resulted in her getting a cane, one she could use to get around by herself, without anyone's help.

	Her older brother was always there for her, and she loved him for it. As she grew older though, that became more of a problem. Janelle tried to be as independent as possible, learning to read braille, and taking a course in Tae Kwon Do. She was at a disadvantage in her class, but she got around it by using her ears, as opposed to her eyes. This helped her move up through the ranks quickly, so she knew how to defend herself if she got into trouble without her brother around.

	Janelle was 14 when her parents died, leaving her and her brother alone and having to go live with their uncle in New York. It was strange to her, as she heard descriptions of what the city was like around her, but she wasn't able to see it. She wasn't too thrilled at being an orphan essentially, especially once she found out that most of their family hadn't wanted to take the siblings in. However there wasn't too much she could do about it, instead she did the best that she could to learn more about the world, especially how places were described, as she knew she'd never be able to see the world through her own eyes.

She isn't even really sure what to think about the idea of being a demigod. Not to mention she hadn't even known that she was only Jason's half-brother.

Janelle had essentially charged head first into the quest, and if it weren't for Kristin (and Zeke too) odds were she probably wouldn't have done very well. She considers her to be her friend due to their time together, and will help her out if she needs help.

So Zeke's flirts sort of fall on deaf ears so to speak, since she doesn't even realize that's what he's doing. She considers him to be her friend after the quest though.
