While not in excellent physique like any soldier from Mars or miner from Venus, he possesses a deeper tone skin over a strong jawed face. He has dark gray hair grown out slightly but has it combed back most of the time, with a few strands sticking out. His eyebrows are more brown over piercing blue eyes which seek out everything unknown. He’s been seen in nearly everything from fancy attire for Martian balls to basic workmans overalls, but his favorite attire is a dark gray jacket over a light black shirt and cargo pants with heavy boots. My name is Arthur Sharp, I was born the second son to Charles and Juliet Sharp in the year 469R.C. My parents were overjoyed when I was born, my mother didn’t have much luck in conceiving naturally until my older brother Din came just two years before me, and even happier once I was discovered. My parents saw to it that our childhood was fit for any noble of Mars with plenty of sports, high education, and Gene therapy taking prominence. Changing planets, change the DNA. It's miraculous in hindsight, but it makes me feel artificial. My concerns weren't important, the family invested in more than they should have in education and therapy to raise their children to take up the now great mantle of Sharp Workshops. I can't say I blame them with companies such as Raj Factory always looking to ruin them. Comparing them to the others on this rustball, they were generally good people. Working for the betterment of the Empire with some measure of concern for those outside of the thin atmosphere, but the achievement of the Scutson changed our fate. With the chance to expand, my father pushed the company to beat its main competitors and we flew high like Icarus. We seized our moment, and it looked like Sharp Workshop wouldn’t cease expansion. My father took late nights, my mother even later with other nobles. Me and my brother were with one another most of the time either working on learning more and more, or in Din's case, running around the state. I didn’t think it would happen so soon... First Din left the house for the Officer Academy. I knew deep down he wasn't right for being a businessman, but I didn't think he'd want to leave for the military. I became the only Sharp in the estate, the servants and guards being my companions, along with my computers and books. Not a great ending for my teenage years, not that had school to worry about since a year or so ago. Whoever said tragedies happen once, was a damn liar. I was 20, and I didn't even hear about it from any person on the planet, but the tv. An explosion, one of the factories my family owned, and my father’s name came up in the casualties. Of course it came down to an accident. That’s what everyone reported, but I didn’t buy it. My father had a lot of enemies, not directly but ones with money in Raj Factory or the IOC. Then it gets even better. I’ve found some records my father had dealing with some pirates, quite a few of them. With what I’ve seen from the empire though, I can’t blame the old man. Sometimes you need to help the little guy, and maybe sell a few mobile workers along the way. With my father gone, and my mother more interested in other nobles’ bedrooms, and my brother still out and away fighting pirates we no doubt supplied, I had to step up for the family company. Sharp Workshops. I was already helping with some designs and outlines, and I’ve been training since I could speak. I was practically made to run the company. Life’s funny like that. Reality changes in your eyes as you grow up, you learn more about people, about places. I wonder how far I’ll sell my soul at this rate. Maybe I'll even see my brother's face at the end of a gun when it all ends. Until then, I think I'll just keep playing the big bad merchant on Venus. The future belongs with the Venusians after all, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. When this gets released, I really hope all you nobles take a good look in the mirror. It doesn't matter where you're born when you turn out to be the monster. >>Review End… >>Confirm Code; ----- >82 >>Deadman Reset. Thank you Arthur Sharp.
Skills and Abilities
-Intelligent Mind: Arthur was raised from a young age to excel against his peers, and thanks to gene therapy, his family was able to give him a high intellect that’s capable of quick complex thinking. While not an Einstein, his enjoyment of the unknown has made him a skilled mechanic, engineer, pilot and businessman. -Tinker’s Brain: Arthur is skilled with mechanics, and general non-electronics. He can perform repairs on mobile workers and mobile suits while having knowledge of their designs and capabilities. He is also knowledgeable on the materials hi company procures. -Refined Genes: While not high compared to the Royals’ level of gene therapy, the Sharps family were considered nobility by some, and thus began performing more extensive gene therapy as the generations continued. Arthur’s Overclocked focuses on the mental capacity rather than physical enhancement. -Everyone’s Guy: Officially Sharp Workshop only trades with legitimate business partners, but given the rising tension, Arthur’s seen to dealing with anyone who will pay and is sane. He’s recognized the Mekon Movement will need a trustworthy supplier as their crusade continues, but for now he’s content with trading with pirates such as Cathrida. This gives him a way to nearly everything in the solar system. -Pilot Training: Arthur has training for mobile workers and mobile suits, while not up to military standards, he’s always practiced on the Scutons of his company.
Personal Items and Equipment
-9-round revolver: Having a love of the treasures of the Earth, Arthur had a custom weapon designed by a contact from L-sect with nanocarbon as the constructed frame. It also accepts a bayonet attachment and is Arthur’s personal weapon. -Personal Computer: Being the owner of a large manufacturing company, Arthur always carries around a small computer to keep up to date on his official dealings and trade.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Arthur is a man of many talents while sitting in a chair. He’s been raised to manage a systemwide company, dealing with pirates and official businesses, and perform smuggling. Outside of the business his intellect is his most important tool in orchestrating a crew on any of his ships, but he prefers the Sharp Workshop’s pride and joy, the Forge of Mars. He’s also familiar with maintaining mobile weapons and even designing ship or mobile suit weapons. In a red, tan and grey color scheme, this ship did end up taking designs from other manufacturers, Sharp innovated with mobile suits as the next forefront of development. The ship features an interesting shape, like a flat rectangle with a hollow center, a long finned command bridge and two wing struts. The rear of the ship is dedicated to mobile weapon storage and maintenance. The ship has two hangars each capable of holding 12 mobile suits, along with a hangar door and catapult. The fin from the back portion of the ship is the command tower with a reinforced bridge for runs through debris fields. The struts leading forward on the ship contain the manufacturing machines, processing plants and elemental printers of the ship, while the bulk section towards the front acts as resource storage.
Technical Details
Crew Size Medium Dimensions:

Height: 90 Meters
Length: 390 Meters
Width: 290 Meters
Weight Class: Heavy Equipment and Design Features: •Hangars The Forge of Mars features two hangars located on the rear of the ship, one to each side. Each hangar holds 12 mobile suits or mobile workers, can launch or retrieve them from the hangar doors or launch them from a catapult facing the front of the ship on the top. While the hangars have 12 bays for mobile weapons, each has an empty space for more suits should the ship need to transport more. •Manufacturing and Processing As a factory ship, the Forge of Mars contains many elemental printers, processing machines and work stations in the middle sections of the ship to aid in construction efforts. Mobile workers may access the supplies from these areas through doors facing inward in the empty section. •Main Cargo and Storage The large section at the front of the Forge of Mars is designed to store cargo and materials. The section has loading doors facing the empty section but may otherwise be detached should the ship need to abandon its cargo, which has never been required.
Weapons and Combat Capabilities

Fixed Armaments
•Missile Tubes The Forge of Mars contains 4 sets of missile tubes. A set of 4 facing forward, 2 sets on the rear facing up and the final pair in the rear aimed at a 45 degree angle down. The front section contains 3 tubes, the rear 3, while each top tube contains 4 tubes. The ship doesn’t carry military missiles however, merely demolition and interception missiles. •75mm CIWS Systems x10 Positioned across the Forge of Mars are ten 4-barreled rotary cannons. These small close-in-weapon-systems or CIWS are arranged to give 360 degree bubble of interception should the ship encounter an asteroid shower or pirate forces. Their high rate of fire allows them to dispatch incoming projectiles with greater ease and better keep enemy mobile suits at bay. •800mm Gyrojet MAG system An intricate system designed as a collaboration between Sharp and IOC, the Forge or Mars features two tubes on the sponsons with one barrel of this system. Designed to crack asteroids and as a test, the system isn’t often used but allows for the advantage of high speed launch and Gyrojet acceleration after leaving the barrel. This system is delicate however and maintenance intensive, requiring examination after each launch.
Technical History
The Forge of Mars comes from a celebratory time of Sharp Workshops when the Zern Empire accepted the Scutson mobile worker. The high ups ordered for the first large scale ship by Sharp to be produced to show off their industrial power, and Sharp's engineers provided. Designed with mobile suits and workers in mind, they provided two hangars for independent operation while adding in a catapult for far operations. The ship incorporated manufacturing and processing facilities along the long sponsons of the ship, allowing for high production power from the ship itself. A heavily reinforced cargo section is featured at the front of the ship for easy access and storage. The hangars of the ship are designed for quick repairs and resupply of mobile suits to ensure high efficiency during any operation. The ship was launched at the beginning of 494R.C. to great praise by the company and the public as an inspiration of Mars engineering and might to the whole solar system. The ship first toured around Mar's orbital factories and moons to aid in their production and as publicity. As the ship's advertising potential waned, the ship was sent out deeper away from the planet and eventually on a path towards Venus as a status symbol of the Zern Empire to its colonists, and a symbol of power to Sharp's competitors. Sending a flagship of the company far away from Mars to Venus was a risk, but a large middle finger to Raj Factory who've stuck close to the Empire's military officials since the mobile worker examination. Since Arthur Sharp's ascension to owner of Sharp Workshops, he's taken to using the ship as his own during his stay in the Venus sphere... The worker has had the shoulder sections remodelled to allow for an extra arm on each side capable of rotating from the front next to the arms over the top of the shoulder. The arms are built with large powerful servos and heavily constructed for assistance. While they come standard with a pair of clamps, they are sometimes be changed out with a Scutson hand for precision. A last addition on each arm of the standard Scutson is a launchable heavy tow cable. The feet have also been replaced with a set of large claws, which when folded allow for basic movement under gravity or along the surface of ships. They can open extremely wide comparatively to their folded state, and clamp onto large objects or crush them in a viselike grip. Aside from such differences, more cameras have been added for increased visibility, and larger higher output verniers have been installed for heavier thrust.
Technical Details
Accommodation: The SC model Scutson features a single seat cockpit, which has a more open design to facilitate more screens in the cockpit presenting a larger, near 360 degree coverage for the pilot. To accommodate this, the ejection seat of the unit has been removed. Dimensions: 15 Meters Powerplant: Medium strength Wilberforce reactor Equipment and Design Features: •Extra Monoeye The SC Scutson features an additional monoeye facing the rear of the unit which continuously providing a rear view for the pilot. •SubArms With a pair of powerful clamps or a standard pair of Scutson hands, these arms allow for heavy duty construction work or assistance with smaller tasks by being the actual extra pair of hands. •Tow Cables The normal pair of Scutson arms comes with tow cable launchers to assist in heavy movement or construction. •Claw Feet The feet of the Scutson have been replaced with large claws for use in stabilization or narrow foot access. They are also equipped with powerful servos to allow for digging in or in the case of one unfortunate workplace incident, crushing steel girders to remove them and free trapped workers. •Hardpoints x8 Located across the Scutson’s body are universal connection points or “Hardpoints”. These hardpoints can be used to mount equipment to the Scutson’s body or carry tools. Two hardpoints are located on the sides of the shoulders, two are located on the back, two on the upper legs, and two on the lower legs. •External Tank links Attached just behind the unit and to either side of the backpack, these allow the suit to have the optional fuel tanks attached for extended flight and thruster uses.
Weapons and Combat Capabilities

Handheld Armaments
The Scutson can wield various mobile suit sized tools from giant shovels, pickaxes, sledgehammers, and other useful tools that could easy be used to bludgeon things with. •Mining Drill A heavy club-like grinding drill fitted with a long hand and dozens of spinning, rotating parts capable of grinding even the hardest of rocks to a fine dust. It is most often used on the surface of Venus or mining asteroids where they are effective, if somewhat terrifying tools. As an improvised weapon its unwieldy and slow, but the weight and force of the Scutson’s powerful limbs alone is enough to brutalized most targets to say nothing of the drill element. •Bolt Gun Essentially a giant nail gun designed to drive metal stakes through hard rock or solid metal, used primarily in temporary habitat repair work or mining. While not normally able to fire unless pressed up against a solid surface, it's not difficult to rig the tool and weaponize it. Inaccurate at a distance the bolt gun has good penetration and can shoot out sensors or damage lightly armored areas on a suit.
Fixed Armaments
•20mmCIWS With an increase in raids on Sharp Workshops supply ships and sites by pirate groups, Arthur Sharps petitioned for a set of light machine guns to be installed on his company’s Scutsons, although they carry limited ammunition they can be used to intercept asteroids, salvage or throw a pirate mobile suit off guard. Two are placed on the torso of the unit, one on each side of the CIWS facing forward. •Sharps Pickaxe With 2 always equipped on this unit, the pickaxe is a versatile tool used by the company for mining or construction with a heavy hammer side. The length can be increased by conjoining the two handles together. •Discharge Explosive As a safety precaution against theft, Sharp has installed an explosive device inside of the unit’s main chassis that will disable the machine indefinitely without severely damaging the Wilberforce Reactor. Easily hidden behind paneling that will take an hours work to remove, the device is set to go off 20 minutes after leaving the range of a Sharp facility or by the pilot’s choosing.
Strengths and Weaknesses
These units were ultimately designed by Sharp for Sharp in Sharp territory, and thus the company has spent quite a pretty penny to upgrade the Scutson without hampering its frame too harshly. The sub arms allow for more intricate work without the need for a second unit, with the claw feet providing surface on locations like lunar or asteroid surfaces, and heavy servos guarantee the unit can stand above other mobile workers when it comes to lifting strength. To compensate for all of the additional equipment, armor on the unit had to be lightened to keep it near the original weight. Slightly heavier, the unit also consumes fuel at a higher rate with the larger verniers, leading to external tanks usually being equipped to the back of the unit. This makes it a more cumbersome unit when equipped, thus used on EVA usage.
Technical History
Over time it became clear that the Scutson was useful for general purpose contracting, but not good enough for the very same company. Sharp was selling the Scutson but also using a small portion for its own work and construction, and noticed the improvements it could be given. Sharp engineers saw what needed to be added, and did so. The new Scutsons, nicknamed the SC model, were also called monsters at first because of the extra pair of arms, an extra monoeye placed on the back, and claws for feet. Many workers dislike of the machine were quickly subsided as the unit proved even more useful than the previous model for their work. Some pilots have even gone so far as to customize the units with some painting or custom markings.
