He has a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor. He doesn't open up to many people, but he's fiercely protective and loyal of those he cares about. The list of people he cares about, however, is short. Jax is a loner by nature, his reasoning for opening a bar being that he wanted a place people wouldn't be judged for drinking as much as they wanted... Within reason. He doesn't let things get sloppy in his bar. He's respectful, a gentleman at his core. But he's also a player, noncommittal and not one with any intentions of settling down. His reasoning is because he hasn't met his soul mate, not really believing that he has one. Jax is highly intelligent, well read, and enjoys music a lot as well. He is a sucker for anything classical, be it classic rock or classical music, or classic literature. Jax is old-fashioned in his beliefs, though he doesn't talk about it outright. He's not close-minded at all, not one to get involved in other people's business. But he is old-fashioned in that he is a fan of old-fashioned romance, he's actually quite sensitive though he'd never admit it, and he's also very compassionate and warm. His brusque exterior is a defense mechanism, self-preservation so he doesn't get hurt.
