It wasn't that she disliked The Revel, but she had been feeling particularly homesick recently. She thought calling home would help, but aside from a very comical exchange between her mother and brother it only served to make her feel worse. Hearing that everyone was doing well did make her happy, but she wanted to spend the holiday with them. Letting out a wistful sigh, Lilie let herself mope around the dorm for a while. She had heard that there was going to be a few events around campus, but she was feeling particularly anti-social. The concert Kanalie mentioned was tomorrow, so she was going to allow herself to be whiny for the day-night-whatever (she wasn't used to the time terminology yet). As she contemplated on whether she should watch TV or watch some videos online, a particularly loud knock on the door managed to snap her out of her thoughts. "Coming!" She called out, quickly rushing to the door. The bored-looking deliveryman didn't seem to react much as she opened the door, instead holding out a package for her to accept along with a clipboard. "Sign here, please," He stated. Lilie signed before thanking him, catching a bit of annoyance with him. He didn't have to look at her like that, it was probably for Mariette. Lilie closed the door behind her as she decided to leave the package on her desk in the study, but she was surprised to find her name on it. She examined the box, trying to remember if she ordered anything, but she couldn't think of why anyone would send her anything. She placed it down on her bed, opening up the box. A note addressed to her rested on top of the tissue paper from Mariette of all people. It was typed out, too--so whatever was in there had been ordered for her? Lilie looked down at the package, digging through the tissue paper before seeing just what Mariette got her. Her jaw dropped at the quality of the dress, immediately taking it out of the box and pressing it against herself as she looked at the mirror. Oh, it was so pretty, and it looked like it was just her size, too! She turned this way and that, admiring herself before remembering to actually read the note. Socializing with your peers is crucial to serving a noble--it's not what you know, it's who you know. I suggest going to Ballroom Number Two tonight and mingling with the people there. Please use this and have a nice time socializing. Mariette Well, if she wanted her to go out and socialize, then she really couldn't say no, right? She took a good look at herself in the mirror, hand on her chin as she examined her reflection. It was supposed to be a really nice party, so she'd need to try hard to make herself look really good. She could give herself a mini spa day and do her hair nice, too. Fortunately, being up early would work in her favor: she could relax, pamper herself, then get dressed and head out. She did have a lavender vanilla sea salt scrub she had been dying to try. Placing the package down on her bed, she closed her bedroom door before rummaging through her stuff. A nice scrub, bath bombs, a few scented candles--all this and some nice music from her phone meant she would have a lovely afternoon bath.
