I'm hoping for both. The beginning will definitely be a bit more open world and responding to the player's action, but an overarching plot will reveal itself. 

EDIT: I don't really have an expectation for post frequency. After all, we all do have real life to attend to at some point or another. I just hope to be informed when RL does call, and I'll try to do the same.
