Sorcha nods and leads the boy out. “Father, I have reports when I’m finished,” she calls as she leaves. She turns to the boy. “Quit that, would you? I don’t know what your thinking, but this is real. The sooner you realize that, the less likely you’ll get killed.” She shoves him out of the way and deflects an arrow with her sword. “Very funny!” She calls humorlessly to a demigod laughing as he runs. Asa frowns. “Poor kitty. I hope it’s alright.” She thinks that the opponent Ambrosia had fought to the death was pounding a feline, confused by the terminology. She hugs the girl, then punches her in the gut. “Pull yourself together, alright? We’re supposed to be soldiers here, not wimps. And I mean all of us here died, so your not alone.” She smiles brightly. She nods at Simon’s back. “I’ll try. Your paying for leaving me alone!” She calls to him cheerfully. A leopard strolls through the halls, and it glimmers. A woman with pink hair tied up stands where the leopard was and she smiles as she approaches Vic and Jacob. “Hey, Sorry I’m late.” She smiles. “New kid, huh? I’m Winter.” She holds her hand out. Khalida grips her head as she sits up. “What in the actual hell is going on?”
