Zenith smiles and kisses his nose gently. She hugs her rumbling stomach. “I’ll be right back.” She gets up and comes back with a plate of food easily eaten in ten minutes. 

Lennon frowns in thought. She counts the pictures on her phone and she raises her eyebrows when she finishes. She smiles faintly. “So did I.”

Carra smiles and silently gets up and puts everything she’d pocketed in her bag. She comes back carefully and gently kisses his neck.
