Moonbeam stood, bent over, panting. There was no where she could find help, except...the portals? She didn't want to go back in that direction that night. She found a nook and curled up in it, setting up an illusion of a dumpster around her. She fell into a fitful sleep, feeling alone and scared.
As morning arrives, you wake up from a nightmare about spiders devouring you. However, as you open your eyes, you instantly know something's wrong. You can feel it around you, saturating the air. You can see polished marble floors and walls, with golden pillars and great archways, a glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling. However, you can sense illusions all around you, everywhere. You could be in the same place as you were before, or somewhere completely different. Around you stand five men, each dressed in the expressionless silver mask and black trenchcoat, with the red drop insignia. However, even with these threatening presences so close, your attention is soon drawn towards a mind, the cause of the illusions being fed into your brain. Something vast, a hundred minds as one, all around you, surrounded by this hive mind. A presence that feeds you lies that come as naturally as breathing, or moving. "Hello, darling. I think it's high time we have a little chat. You did a number on poor Ghastly the other night, now didn't you?" Kami smiles down at you, dressed in a complete black velvet gown inlaid with ruby teardrops, an odd golden circlet upon her head holding an onyx the size of an eyeball. Her nails are long and sharp, painted red, her high-heeled shoes the picture of elegance. Her blonde hair and perfect features are almost inhumanly beautiful, and you have no doubt this is not her true appearance. In her left hand is a glass of wine, which she slowly swirls, looking down at you with an imperious, covetous gaze. "However, I'm a generous and forgiving woman. And I must say, your skill with illusions is quite impressive."
