There's something I've been wondering about for a while now. Is there a set hour of the day, day in the month etc. that the monsters typically "summon" themselves, or do they just appear whenever they feel like fucking shit up (if you'll excuse my French)?
Oui Oui, I mean, they tend to appear at complete random. Sometimes you might get a heads up from the Entity, if it feels like a monster phase is happening soon, but you can't really count on it as the Entity acts more like an observer than an ally. As the monsters are technically on a different plane of existence they don't really follow any timetables or even have the same sense of time as humans do, usually. There are two constants however: First, monsters can only exist in our reality for a set period of time, ranging from around 30 minutes to half a day, the average being perhaps an hour or two. Second, once a monster is defeated or forced to retreat there is a cool down period before another monster phase can happen. This monster less period at a minimum is about a day, give or take a few hours. Usually though the monsters tend to be quiet for longer periods of time.
